I feel the same way every mowing season the first mow of the year can't come soon enough and time the end of the year comes from mowing my own yard and helping keep 3-4 neighbors yards done all season I am ready to park my mower for the year. All together my yard and 3 of the neighbors I would say is roughly around 5 acres all together which I know isnt a lot.

My neighbors are the same way. All I have to do is start my mower and within moments they are all out mowing. I just love getting them going. Its like they wait on me to start mowing. No matter what day of the week or what time it is, they will start mowing shortly after they hear my mower start up.

Get this.. late Saturday night after some beers me and my buddy siphoned the gas out of my obnoxious neighbors lawn mower and also drained his back up gas can. Come Sunday ( everyone Mows on Sunday cuz Monday is trash pickup) we bribed my little cousin ( age 11 ) to go out there and start mowing the lawn aimlessly, the neighbor came out within 1 minute as he heard the engine and was kind of shocked seeing someone else mowing the lawn, and had this big stupid competitive smirk on his face as he went and grabbed his lawn mower, went to start it no gas..no backup gas... me and my buddy were cracking up watching through the window blinds, laughing our asses off as he bolted down to the gas station with his can. As soon as he left I had my buddy go tell his wife we are playing a trick on him and quickly refilled his lawnmower. Then I grabbed the lawn mower from my cousin and proceeded to murder my lawn in one shot no backtrack actually turned out pretty good considering, cuz I know my lawn. Then I ran back in the house set-up my cousin with a cold Coke, can of Pringles and half a bag of Sour Patch Kids and told him to sit outside on the porch and chill like he did the whole job himself. When Dude rolled up he was in shock got out slam the car door walked across the street looked at the lawn.. look at my cousin.. and said not bad you ever mowed lawns before my cousin replied with a simple "nope" as he chewed on his candy with a straight face kid was born to be an actor, at this point the whole household is losing it inside trying not to knock over Furniture laughing. As he walked back across the street you could see the smoke coming out of his ears, he went to put gas in the mower and it over flooded it, that's when we couldn't take it anymore and everybody burst out of the house laughing and hollering and his wife too.. He now mows his lawn on Saturday and has put his mower in the garage instead of on the side yard with a cover I can't make this shit up😆👍🏼 hope everyone is doing blessed and well and keeping a smile on their face through these times🙇🏻‍♂️✌🏼

As a new age dad I prefer electric yard tools... Only gas stuff is generator and snowblower. So glad.(chainsaw, weed whacker, hedge trimmer, lawnmower, leaf blower etc all electric and loving it!!!!!

@@whiterage1917 that saw isn't a joke. To be able to put down the saw, shut off, go do what ya gotta do (which is 90% of tree work), then restart immediately makes it WAY easier than a gas one. The saw really doesn't seem taxing on the battery like the leaf blower running constantly. I mountain bike / do trail maintainence and the saw with no gas is easier, lighter, and much quieter to do trail work than the gas option (I carry it in a backpack while biking). Unless you're semi pro or pro tree guy the electric saws are amazing. I'm sure at some point the batteries are going to be good enough to just not deal with gas. In my book no pull cord is awesome (I've used many gas saws for decades).
