well phooey... I was going to use kombucha to cut back on beer drinkin' but now you've shown me cocktails??? ;-) yum!

This is really cool - and will surely come in handy sometime soon ;-) I actually saw a barman use some kombucha as a mixer recently and was intrigued, so this video is very timely. Have you considered doing more Kombucha flavour videos at all? Specifically one about how to make coffee kombucha? P.S I made my first entry into the logbook yesterday...it's perfect! :-)

Absolutely would love more videos. I’ve been making kombucha for quite a few years but you have so many nice tips I’m always watching. I subscribed the first day I ran across your videos. I’ve been hoping for cocktail recipes so this is great! Thanks

Hey, great video! I've been getting into mixed drinks as we call them in the southern tier of New York a bit lately. I'll have to give this a try!

I love your videos! Does the alcohol "kill" the healthy bacteria and yeast?

I have taken a break from making kombucha but am ready to start back. My scoby is about 4 months old and has been stored at room temp on a Tupperware container with the lid on it. It smells fine (like a scoby) but I thought I would ask your opinion before making some. Thank you.

Not really much of a 'drinker'... but my favourite libation is a true margarita. You've given me pause to consider how I can incorporate my kombucha into a drink that will taste similar. BTW... my favourite komucha to date is a ginger one that is second fermented with syrup that I make. Thanks for all of your ideas and encouragement. I've passed along your website (and some SCOBY) to all my acquaintances that have become interested in brewing their own kombucha.

Although I like the concept... definitely a great idea.... But doesn't involving kombucha good organisms to something like alcoholic beverages kill it or defeat the purpose of using it🤔🤔🤔
@GlowingEagle4 жыл бұрын
Sairam SuperSaiyan yes it does kill a big percentage of the microbial population. This however, is for for the unique flavor of kombucha rather than the health benefits

Not sure since there is a trace amount of alcohol in kombucha. Just sayin!

Wouldn’t the strong alcohol kill off all of the probiotics?
@YouBrewKombucha4 жыл бұрын
Yes so this is really more about using kombucha's flavor for the cocktail more so than it's health benefits :)

And the day when you have nothing to say on kombucha is near, this is the proof. Nothing hungry my good girl but homemade cocktails can made more more easy and good then this shit that i see now. Why don't you just treat what you know in you videos ?
@YouBrewKombucha4 жыл бұрын
no one's making you watch buddy 😂 clearly there are others who find this helpful so if you’re not finding any use in my channel why not just stop watching and leave that negativity to yourself instead of telling others what to do? Sounds like you think of yourself as a cocktail expert. Why don’t you share some links to your expert cocktail videos/recipes and educate us all?! I’m sure we’d all love to benefit from your infinite wisdom! 🤣
