We need the codes from these modules (Engine ECU, DC/DC converter, BMS, Power Electronic Module). Hi, I'm writing from the Middle east. I changed the two converters and it seems to be working. No fault codes detected during the scanning now but I think just the hybrid is discharged after 3 months of no activity ( or maybe the hybrid battery died too ). My question is, how can I check/test and most importantly charge the hybrid battery in order to start the car ? In this video you're saying : 1. have to be a 12 Volt charger 2. turn on the ignition 3. but it has to put 80 amps or even more ? Only those 3 steps are necessary ? - thanks and god bless you

This will probably be silly question, but is towing a S400 hybrid by tow dolley a bad idea or does it need a flat bed? I had this hybrid broke down since 2019 due to a bad charging system. I have to go pick it up at the mechanic that's been sitting. Apparently it will drive and charge long as it's in motion, but if idle more than about 20 min it will drain itself because it wont charge. Original the problem was it just stop starting bit they must of fixed that but not the charging part of it.

I have a 2010 s400 replace the Power Control Module with a Remanufactured one. Now the car starts but it takes about 10 to 15 seconds to star and the Battery Malfunction indicator . The ECO STAR/ STOP is not working and the "READY" indicador is yellow. Please tell me what I can do because the car is running and supposedly indicating good hybrid battery charge

Rent or buy the YOUCANIC scanner and we can diagnose it remotely. It's impossible to know without reading the codes and looking at live data from the battery management system. It's just there are many things that can be wrong with these cars.

Thanks, this is a very informative video. After getting a Hybrid Inverter replacement from China my car started just once and then got the following message: "0C7800 the precharging time of the high voltage on-board electrical system is too long". According to the auto garage it's the inverted from China. According to the supplier from China it's something else. Do you have a clue? Paying for your advice is no problem. Thanks!

You need reprogram your new chinese inverter with the car, You neew Star Xentry diagnostic to do that.

Since 2019 my 2010 was at a a mechanic shop and they tried everything they could but failed. Finally I'm able to get it back. Apparently I will be able to drive but not idle for more than 30 min because the battery can charge thru driving and braking. I'm pretty mechanical. I'd hate to get rid of the car if you guys have a fix I can try to make it work. What would you recommend

Hi, I am in Atlanta and own a 2011 S400. I have had 2 issues fixed under warranty with the AC going out. And it is currently out again. The car always started, starts now and has never not started or cut off. I have had no other problems with the car. When I take it to Carmax (they warrantied it) I never feel like I get the true story but the last time they told me they replaced the compressor and the high voltage cable. Is there anything I could check? I work on Elevators and my other cars but have never messed with this because its under warranty but I'm frustrated!

We have had S400 come from dealerships and their diagnosis was completely incorrect. Most shops and dealers don't work on S400 very often because there were not many of these cars made. We have had S400 shipped from California to Maryland for diagnosis so that should give you an idea of what is going on. If you need hell just send us an email to support @youcanic

Depends on the price. If you can get it for a good price then go for it. If it fails we can convert it to gasoline only and it will last over 200,000 miles.

P0A0E00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has a malfunction. I have this problem only and engine sometimes does not start. I can start engine only in the morning and than 2nd time i am not able. Please help, is the battery dead or it is other issue? I have mercedes E class hybrid 2013

He says that there may be some damaged cable, not orange but other one Interlock circuit has a malfunction still presents. Please could you give some instructions? Hello I have a problem with my car Mercedes S-Class 400 hybrid of the year 2010, sometimes I press the Start Stop button and the car it refuses to start I have to wait 30 minutes 15 minutes 40 minutes several times it ends up starting I also have another problem the power steering is hard sometimes not all the time and the brake pedal sometimes it is hard too, I brought the car back to Mercedes for a diagnosis I was diagnosed and I was told that the problem comes from the ECU that manages the hybrid that is at the bottom side gearbox and maybe the hybrid battery too but for me they are not strong on the flanges the fault codes of the diagnosis from Mercedes is: P0A6000 and also the code P0A6300 and also the code P0A5D00 I would like to know if you can help me solve the problem please is it the hybrid battery that is out of service or the ECU that charges the hybrid battery. Can you help me

Send an email to support @ youcanic. Com. If you have screenshots of the codes that's even better. The hybrid battery may need a boost to charge enough to start the engine. Usually it's only one that fails not both. Also let us know where you are located.

No you can't, as he explained, there is no traditional starter - the electrical engine is used to crank the petrol engine

Check the 30A fuse in the top of transmission. It is the black box part of the orange cables. You have schematic on top of the box. Disconnect the cables from hv batter, ac compressor and power electronic module then test contunity. If you need more help send us an email at support @ youcanic
