though i get that zhixi's situation is pitiful, it's sad how she didn't even try to protect her sister even when the curator was literally about to kill her she stood there watching too scared to act, whereas yandan did the opposite without giving it a second thought she took the punishment for her sister even if her own life was already at risk, that's the difference between the sisters. yandan is pure, selfless and brave while zhixi is full of doubts and all she can think about is herself.

She is not pitiful please look again...she was about to go to yingyuen to say she was the one who sacrificed herself when yandan was sick...and then when the curator was about to kill her she used yandan to get away....and then did nothing when yandan was being punished....she is selfish,good for nothing, backstabbing...all she thinks about is herself...you will even see more in the coming episodes

@@Alpabe46 what you're saying is right but that judgement it also based on half of the story, just like i made this comment only based on what we'd seen so far of her i.e till ep 11.. because then if you go a bit more further in the story (spoiler alert) then you see some character development she ends up regretting turning against yandan & hurting her only sister and saves lord yingyuan without wanting any validation from him and she also avenges the curator for everything she put yandan through. zhixi realizes she was wrong and blames herself for yandan's suffering so rather than an evil character i see her as more of an insecure and gullible person. overall i would say she still seems pitiful to me at least.
