I just wanted to tell you thank for not forgetting the Missions, the National Historical Mission Parks there in SA. My husband worked for the Park service there for 21 years till he retired and his last church was Mission Concepcion, when he first started he was so surprised that a lot of the locals didn’t even know that the missions existed. Thank you again. I like the coffee shirt., would like to have one..

We are picking up our new travel trailer in Houston on Monday the 29th then immediately heading to San Antonio leaving for home on Wed the 31st. Being retired USAF, I've been there many years ago, but my has not. We are planning on visiting the Pearl, Alamo and the river walk. I look forward to seeing it again and visiting all the new sites since my last visit many moons ago.

I dunno, I think Phil is beginning to like history. You missed what is my personally favorite most interesting thing to see in San Antonio. It actually reduced my Mother to tears when she saw it. Not sure if it is still there, though. It was in the museum at Lackland AFB. The wind tunnel model of the B-24 was made by my grandfather when he worked at Convair in San Diego and he took it up to Caltech for wind tunnel testing.
