Under the direction of Gustavo Gimeno, Concertgebouworkest Young 2022 performs a recent work by rising star Francisco Coll, followed by a masterpiece from the orchestral repertoire: Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 (‘From the New World’). The very future of music is right here onstage. It's an extraordinary experience, both for the musicians themselves and for the audience.
Concertgebouworkest Young is the international youth orchestra catering for young people aged fourteen to eighteen who could use a little extra support. Since its successful launch in 2019, Young has gained wide acclaim for its uniqueness and innovation: this summer project has turned out to be exactly what the music world needed. Held for the third time in August, 73 talented young people from every corner of Europe are meeting up. After an intensive summer programme, they are presenting themselves as a youth orchestra at The Concertgebouw and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.

It's so nice to see you back in business again oh yezzzzzz, heavenly delight indeed , keep up be strong everybody, stay safe, never let any evil dare to harm you, watch out the climate change headache, it might give you a nasty pain just right behind the eyes, but lucky survivors can manage the problem... remarcable performance, wow, surprising indeed, someone try to add the movie to this spectacular soundtrack, something very close to Prometheus space adventure l should say, you are doing a great job guys, never give up spreading good vibes we need so much

OP school (HBS) vertelde men het verhaal over dit muziekstuk, wat Dvorak allemaal zag toen hij in de nieuwe wereld arriveerde. Ik weet dat nog. Bravo voor al die jonge musici, ik 💗van hen allemaal.
