And someday after girls have learned to train as hard as men they might even be good enough to be in the Men’s team, and then there will be the A-Team and the B-Team, and F-Troop. And we are supposed to have empathy for these people? The big problem I have with these sporting incidents is that a seemingly large number of men and boys who transition have been poor or, at best average, in their biological sports and then obviously become succesful against girls/women. But the most disgusting thing of all is they openly boast about it as if it's something to be proud of. It makes you wonder how many of them are genuine and how many of them are cheats and are only transitioning for their own narcissistic ends. It's odd how they have shunned any notion of a Trans category in sports where they would have to compete against other biological boys/men and it's also odd why we do not have this same issue in mens sports where a girls/women transitioning are at a biological disadvantage against men. I'm a guy, in 6th grade my class were playing softball against each other and I was playing 3rd base. The batter (a girl) hit a line drive towards me and we didn't have any gloves and jammed my right ring finger. I was in pain, she did apologized to me after the inning was over. I told her don't worry about it, I'll be ok. I hardly spoke english and I wish I told her to succeed in softball and that it wasn't her fault since we didn't have gloves. It was the teachers fault for not allowing us to have any gloves.

Reminds me of the time we played hockey (maybe 12/13 yrs old)🏑 with the boys, one of the boys smacked the ball and it went into my foot before I could jump it. Come to think of it I do remember being nervous going against boys it was usual to do sport with boys until Year 9.

Everybody was either a year older than me or 18 months older than me. I was 16 years old throughout my senior year in high school with the exception of 2 months. I always competed with boys in middle school and high school of the same grade despite being younger. I ran 6:09 the mile run when I was 11 years old in 7th grade setting a new school record for 7th graders despite being a year younger than the rest of the 7th graders.

This Democrat agrees with you. There are consequences to our decisions. The consequences to a young person seeking to transition are immense. Physical consequences of hormone blockers and surgeries are huge. Fertility is compromised for a start. Young people are simply not equipped to judge future consequences- that's why they don't get to vote, tattoo themselves or buy cigarettes or alcohol. If young folks knew 100% that if they wish to transition they are not going to be playing sports against those of the opposite gender it might help them understand consequences a bit better. It is not a tragedy to be denied participation based on a choice. It is however a travesty for these young women to be denied choice in what should be a safe space for them- female sports. Please hear me when I say that not all Democrats are towing the party line on this. We aren't.

And someday after girls have learned to train as hard as men they might even be good enough to be in the Men’s team, and then there will be the A-Team and the B-Team, and F-Troop.
