I want a video. A video on how how your money comes in. I've been watching since y'all were in the rv. I have never understood how you have money to do what you do.

Jesse and Alyssa, I want to thank you both. Today I was seriously considering throwing in the towel with furthering my studies as it just seemed such an Everest of a challenge. You spoke the most important truths to me and I desperately needed to hear it. I thank you both, truly for saving my day and have a blessed day further.

Jesse and Alyssa, I have been subjected to the public on a large scale so I know how the criticism stings and slaps. I'm older than you and I wish to congratulate you both on taking the initial leap, sticking to your dream and making a life you love! Good job!! Please totally ignore those ignoramuses who criticize you for the speed you are working on for your house. It's NOT THEIR GOAL, it's YOURS! Just do it as you can.and want to. Setup a "Victory Journal" and every day or every week write down what you accomplished. Do it for a year and you'll amaze yourselves. I'm proud of you, I respect what you're doing and wish you all the best!!

Y'all have been more of an inspiration to many than you probably realize. I feel like a proud auntie, I've been with y'all for most of the time you've been documenting your journey. (thank you for sharing) This world seriously needs more couples like you... Not afraid of hard work or getting your hands dirty.. but most importantly you stay true to who you are always.. it's been refreshing to watch y'all learn, build and grow in so many ways.. y'all should be proud of yourselves, you deserve to.. What a great start to the Family vacation memory vault... Blessed for many more to come ♥️

After watching you two progress over the last several years...my conclusion, and agreement is that, if you have a partner that is as driven you Will accomplish the goals. Having a partner that gives you the that extra boost of confidence psychologically, allows the goal(s) more achievable. CONGRATULATIONS on achieving what you set out to do.

As a person about twice your age, there's a lot of wisdom in this video. For us, we retired in 2010 & 2012, took a trip to Europe to celebrate, got hooked on traveling, and now 9 years later we've visited over 100 countries and 6 continents (the last one will be next year). It's truly wise for you to say, "I won't achieve my goals in one year; but I will overachieve them in 5 years!". It's all about taking one step at a time. . . I could tell more stories, but this is your channel and I'll let you tell yours. Keep it up. And do visit Sullivan Lake airstrip!

2 things that you touched struck me as being spot on. The "To done list". Stepping back to look at what you have actually accomplished is such a glass half full way of looking at things. And also the vacation energy booster. I've found that after going outside my day to day world and absorbing other sights, sounds and people I become energized and more ambitious in achieving my goals.

I deeply appreciate your comments, Jesse and Alyssa. I was talked out of starting my first business by someone who thought he was an expert, then I later found out that he was an expert in *starting* businesses because they all failed. So, I figured I couldn't do any worse than he did, and now I work for an online game company, and have two businesses of my own. Just like you, I often feel I haven't gotten as far as I'd like. On the other hand, looking back, I've come further than I had hoped. On cruddy days when nothing seems to go right, watching your videos has often helped me improve my mindset and turn things around. Thank you very much for that.

@PeterKaitlyn5 жыл бұрын
@@leeklemetti1887 If you finish something then you have something to show for your hard work. It's as important to count the stuff you do finish, even if it's only part of something larger. Working on part of something is finishing a part of something. The larger the project the more little things that need to get done. Also if you work all day and don't get to where you want to be... that still tells you something about your actions... That try didn't work and you have to try something else.

From my own life... got out of Navy after 10 yrs... thinking about college and said, "But I'm 28 years old... I'll be 32 before I could graduate..." Answer came back... "How old will you be in 4 years if you DON'T do it?" ... They said I would never make it trying to do it with 4 children at home... they two years later.. "Well, yes, you can do community college level, but you'll never be able to last thru University..." They were wrong.. and they are still in those recliners.... reminds me of a sign I once had in my office... "Will those saying it cannot be done, please move out of the way of those doing it..." YOU, my young friends have DONE IT... congratulations!

Philosophical question for you . Been watching for a long time and really have commented until now. If you set your goals for the year and reached ALL of them I don't think you were stretching yourself. I am SURE you met some of the goals and the ones you missed motivated you to keep going. I would rather be optimist and stretch rather and not meet all of my goals rather than meet every goal. I think what you both did allowed you you accomplish what you did over the 5 years. Fun to look back and see the progress. Here's to the next 5 :-)
