I didn’t think I’d love this interview as much as I do. Like Shawn said beautiful well said! 👏🏾 I also love that even while battling his own addiction he’s also thinking about his daughter putting her before himself. That’s a real man and a father who you know loves his child.

Addiction is still one of the most important conversations we can possibly have. It's THE most important thing, the fact so many people still would rather ignore it is beyond me. Society needs to change their attitudes on this or I will change it for them.

My dad was killed by a car under the influence of Alcohol & Benzos, mother is an addict, uncle, ect. Watched my Uncle overdose in front of me and I get flashbacks everyday (he lived but he was practically dead for 20+ minutes) I have PTSD from that and other traumatic moments and I’ve used drugs (Valium,Percs,Alcohol) anything to be honest and I’ve been clean for 30+ days I was arrested for threatening a law enforcement officer and battery (misdemeanors) but man addiction has destroyed my family and me as well I’m on UA right now through Pre Trial Release and I’m just smoking weed (Marijuana Card) and it’s so difficult reprogramming your brain and enjoying life sober I can’t explain it I’m not the same person but one day at a time we get our selves back.

1:50-5:57 There are folks living, but their not alive!! I never was on drugs, unless you include marijuana. I remember when I stop smoking. Now I appreciate the little things as well that I took for granted. I'm a morning person. So I feel God's presence when I look at the trees blowing in the wind, being at peace, not having anxiety, being truly happy, when I'm praying, looking at my two children while they're sleeping, and wanting the best for other that I don't know. Till they get on my bad side. KMSL 🤞🏾😂

Good hearted people usually aren't very successful drug users. Drugs make a person cold hearted. It's a spiritual conflict only a cold hearted person can be cool with. Good people get it the worst.

Dro may not realize, but he may be the very first rapper to get up here and pioneer sobriety as the new wave I just smoke weed and drink wine, but that is in at night thing throughout the day I’m sober minded, and about my studies and money. I’ve been at that point at a young age so addicted to read that I was not able to focus on anything. I have a healthier relationship with it now. but more and more brothers and sisters I am seeing get hooked in addicted to this stuff at such a young age and it is reminding me of the crack era. there is nothing cool about it. both my brother and sister are drug addicts and it has basically destroyed our relationship as well as family
