Katherine Masel and her brother were hit by a car while playing in the streets on a day off from school. This caused Katherine to leave her physical body and experience the spiritual realm where she gained a deeper understanding of those around her. She now sees people as wounded individuals trying to navigate life, and believes that death is a return to a familiar place and that living shouldn't be taken too seriously.
Katherine Masel gained a profound understanding of life as a wounded journey during her near-death experience as a young girl, realizing that death is a return to a familiar place and reminding us to not take life too seriously.

This may be somewhat off topic. If so, please forgive me. Even though I'm a retired aerospace engineer who was taught that everything is data and that data is everything, I was also taught to get out of my head, my constant thinking, and instead to get into my feelings, emotions. Thus I pay attention to my emotions, to understand what they are trying to communicate to me, and to respect these feelings and emotions; to take them seriously. For they're like another dimension of consciousness or reality that is available to all of us. I'm 85 and thus on the homestretch of my life. So one day or night, I'll cross my finish line. Looking back, while I've made my share of mistakes, my sense is that I've had a spiritual guide who has helped me navigate life's challenges. And for that help, I'm forever grateful. I wish you all well.

Hello LEOCHEN. I am 75 and right behind you in the home stretch. I can see the finish line just up ahead. My pastor tells me I will go to Heaven because I believe. So, I hope to see you there. All your comments in your message above apply to me also. I was a research chemist. Devoid of emotions. Lots of mistakes. Challenges. But a spiritual guide (GOD) is helping me too.

When I was 18 I was a pedestrian hit by car. That's the police description. The impact knocked my soul from my body. I was floating up and away. It was very peaceful. From my view I could see people running from cars and businesses to a crumpled body lying on the ground...a ragdoll. It was me. I looked down and I remember thinking "I have to go back. She needs me" and I was awake. I remember seeing the silver cord that ran between my body and my soul. I was lucky to have survived...but I never forget floating peacefully away...😏

@@IntuitiveNichollThat anxiety is there to protect your human body/vessel. It's just an instinct to encourage self preservation. Without it, we would be careless with human life. So don't worry about that feeling, that's just your body inducing that sense of dread to make sure you'll survive, it's not your consciousness causing that, you're just aware of that sensation.

I can't even imagine the pain of losing a child. When I hear about it I think about my two children I have two boys they are 9 and 14. I don't know how life would go on for me if my boys didn't exist. I just can't imagine your pain but knowing that you're going to see your son again sometime soon should give you some comfort. I just lost my dad who's my best friend but he was very sick We were asking for him to die so he could be in comfort. But that's still nothing like losing a child before their time but there's a purpose for everything Life isn't easy and it's never going to be easy Life is not fair and it will never be fair. There is a reason in a purpose for everything We just don't know yet

I've heard that from the Other Side, you get very excited when incarnating and you may think you can take on mutiple "issues", feeling you can do them all. Also, we are in an End Times Cycle that leads to the opportunity of Ascension; to do this, you need to balance or clear karma. So you may have agreed to these experiences for that reason. Earth provides the grandest opportunity for soul growth, and our Soul thinks this is awesome. Only tip i can provide is to not resist the difficulties and release as much resistance as you can around them. When one ceases fighting against something, it immediately provides relief. Have faith that there is a way to go through difficulties with Grace. I often say to myself, "OK, i know i need to experience this, so i pray that it will go as gently as possible". The only way out is Through. Best of luck.

Idk how often ‘guard your thoughts’ applies outside of a small child thinking ‘that was so much fun’ and experiencing an NDE in ‘74, a year before the acronym was even coined. After childhood most of us have enough discernment to figure how to share something perhaps controversial, difficult to believe, etc.

I really think the same way. My most recent sleep paralysis showed me how much power evil thoughts can have: It was a very hot summer's day and some folks had a party with very loud music all through the night. I was furious and filled with anger and hatred because I could not sleep. A few hours later I suddenly awakened feeling numb and paralysed and there was the most disturbing and evil presence in the room, almost satanic. I instantly knew it came from within me. My evil thoughts had manifested as this demonic presence in the room. I prayed in my thoughts and begged my recently diseased father for help. Then something wonderful happened: I literally saw a transparent sliding door that shifted me from dimension to another and I could move and talk again. We are truly dual beings, so beware of what you are thinking. Negative thoughts are not only thoughts, they have power!

@@pratyush755 Good question! I really don't know, all I know is that good thoughts have postive vibes and negative thoughts create bad energy. So I guess we do have free will, at least for a certain percentage. But I also believe that our life is predetermined, the key events in our life are predetermined. Our death is predetermined. You can hear it in almost all near death experiences, if it is not your time to die, you will survive no matter what has happened to you.

I've been fascinated with NDE'S, since I was about 12. Of all of the NDE'S I've seen before, I feel this one the most. The way she explained her experiences, the emotion and empathy and depth she shared, let me know it's 100% true. This is beautiful. And fascinating how she felt their feelings and life experiences. Thank you for sharing. I had a NDE, but not anywhere near as profound. I was in the hospital, on the operating table, having surgery, and something went wrong (stroke). My surgeon, another surgeon and a few other people were gathered around. I guess i was watching, close to the ceiling, or a little below, looking down. My feeling and hearing were amplified. Much more than my vision. I wasn't scared. They were debating about something. One felt like he wasn't holding out hope. Another just took over and did something, in control and confident. Then it was still. Someone said. Should we tell her? I was wondering who? I think me? I then went kind of blank and hazy. Someone/something said, I guess telepathically, "The mind is the problem." Not the brain, the mind. Next thing i remember is being in the hospital room, waiting to be able to speak (they said it might take a day or so). A very short time later i whispered "the mind is the problem." They assured me everything would be ok. I said no, not the brain, the mind. All of us. The struggles we have come from our minds. It's not a derogatory statement. It's just what we allow in and let stay in our mind. Experiences come and go, but the mind is the problem. I knew then, that letting go was going to be a big lesson in my life. It has. I definitely need more work... 😂 Learning to let go and not let my mind be the problem, is quite a challenge. This was a beautiful experience that she shared. Unconditional love and empathy.

So interesting! I read the Seth books, channeled by Jane Roberts, and Seth taught that thoughts are things and we create our reality thru our thoughts. He taught ways to direct our energy through our thoughts to create the life we want. This reminded me of one of his books because he said that you don’t have to learn to direct the energy of your thoughts in this life, because we have free will and can do what we want, but he said it’s best to do it now, where you have time and space, so thoughts don’t instantly materialize here because of the lower vibration, but he said in the spirit you will experience what you think instantly and if you don’t know how to direct your thoughts you will be running aimlessly, because in The afterlife there is instant manifestation of your thoughts. I’m not explaining this well but you demonstrated exactly what he was talking about, instant manifestation of thought.

Then it was over and I was out of the truck I was in and I had run several blocks thinking I was in a fight.. Was strange.. Then an ambulance picked me up and put me on a stretcher after securing my neck and all that, and I was fine when they got me to the hospital and the doctor told me I had 9 lives. Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes, when my mother had her NDE, she thought she couldn't leave yet, it was the 2nd day of Chinese New Year and she was meant to see her mother. Then she came back to earth from the light.

Me too. And I also couldn’t help wonder how badly injured her brother was and if he had a similar experience. Perhaps he didn’t die for a few moments therefore didn’t have the experience, and so therefore didn’t heal like his sister did.

I earned my Ph.D. at Austin, U.T. Austin. very nice town. Her message is "Guard your thoughts" This is profound that our thougts, which seem to be wispy nothings to us, actually create our reality. Out of love she came back to her Mom and siblings. She came back healed.

Yes. You are what you think. You are what you envision- like anything you manifest in your life that you achieve, aquire, become- you first thought about and envisioned. Mind your thoughts. You will see instant results matching your positive or negative thoughts. If you slip and become negative, catch yourself and envision your goal! Most importantly, do NOT sweat the little stuff. These small stupid things continually drag us down to negativity. DO NOT let it- stop and envision your goal.

I love how you said you were familiar with your life before your body experience. I hear this often in these experiences- it really strengthens my faith in the Plan of Salvation my mother taught me as a Latter Day Saint Christian. I feel that is a very important understanding. We are “returning”, not going home to somewhere we’ve never been. Ecclesiastes 12:7. Thank you for sharing this powerful experience- our free will and thoughts are so critical!

Wow, I’ve heard about 25-30 of these stories. And maybe 3-4 people have actually chosen to come back on their own, while the rest did because it wasn’t their time. But one other person who did choose to and did not have to did it to prevent his fathers pain. Just as you did to protect your mothers, and your sisters. An extremely honorable thing to do by all means! What you said about our thoughts gives me such a huge pause, as I constantly live in a cocoon of guilt and sadness and anxiety. My mother was not always the best to me. And when my life took a huge downturn, it was as if she felt freed. Free from having to care about me. I’d lost a brother at a young age, him 5, me 7. And she was so unable to accept it that when I was about 27, she blamed me for him sneaking out of the house (he was autistic) and using a chair to reach the lock to open the downstairs door. This was at 3-4 am. Tell me how exactly is it my fault that happened? At 7 years old and fast asleep? But I digress, she distanced herself from me, and my father loved me unconditionally. I can only imagine what thoughts that I would have heard from her should this happen to me at about the age when she put my brothers death on me. 20 years later. I’d truly love to know. You were so blessed to have such love given to you by your mother and sister, and you did an amazing thing by coming back to them, for them. I thank you for sharing your experience, and I will do my best to change my mindset to the best of my ability, as what I’ve written is just a slice of a slice of all the things that she put me through. I am glad that you came back, and I most sincerely hope that your life has been blessed. 🙏

I’m sure you’ll come around to forgive her monstrosity if not on this side, than the other, somehow. Anyway, I find it fascinating that right after her an NDE she went to get a razor blade because she wanted to go back so bad. I have to admit these videos have actually prevented me from suicide, because I realize this world is intentionally not meant to be rosy and charming (although I remember it being so in the early years) so it helps in that respect, it makes me feel that there is less of something wrong with my life and that instead it is indeed designed specifically like this, for reasons that get even more specific for me personally.

We can also absorb peoples emotions by just hearing them. When we think of people we become in tuned to thier essences too. When i have a lot of mind chatter ane negative thinking. I know im tuning into a very negative predatorial person. You sometimes get a quick hotflash and find yourself irritated. Try to percieve your surroundings. Fast too. That way your mind and spirit dont overload. Sleeping is a big processing movement. Rest is essential so is body detox. Less sugar and chemicals. Stay grounded and well rounded and help people to be better. Making better choices constantly is of the upmost importance.

I wish that we could have that sense of empathic connection in this life in the way that we can on the other side. If we all had this connection then there would be no violence or cruelty in the world. I wonder why we must we feel so disconnected here? Is life really meant to be this way?

This was beautifully relayed. It’s powerful to hear how our thoughts become our reality not only in this life, but also from a place of afterlife and that our freewill of choice isn’t limited to our human experience, but also when we return to our eternal state of energetic consciousness. Thank you 🤍

I love and appreciate, listening to this channel so much, your story brought tears to my eyes. I don’t know why, but I think it’s because I didn’t talk to my sisters for a long time because they hurt me so much but I just started talking to them again and I’m glad, it’s hard to think about other peoples pain when you feel pain but everyone’s got a pain and I guess we should just be more empathetic to them. Thank you so much for your story.

I'm very glad you lived to pass on the knowledge of the power of thoughts.. I wish that I had known when I was young how much thoughts controlled our lives. I think I would have had a much different life, but I guess wisdom unfolds at the right time for all of us. I wonder if you and your brother were taken to Oschners hospital. I lived in Metairie also at that time.
