@ArthurSavillesCrime You've got a point there. The Patton character in the series more closely resembles nineteenth-century Mexican War hero/killer Samuel Chamberlain.

@ArthurSavillesCrime too true. according to american history they were always heroes because they somehow managed to get a little bit of glory and take it and multiply it to make them seem heroic and never lose. taking credit for world war 2 was enough but they have to do it for every battle they were in.

Well Arthur remember these are the same Mexicans who it took 13 days to subdue a crumbling Mission in San Antonio manned by 186 Tejanos and got their asses kicked all over the Southwest US and Mexico by a Smaller American Force from 1846-48 led by Officers such as Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee...And they whine how Uncle Sam abused them after they picked both fights in the first place !!!
