After hearing what you have said, I thought I might throw in my two cents on the matter. Before I do however, I need to address something. Not many talk about this fact, but it’s vary important to the show in question. The show “Young Justice” was one of many shows to come from a “Cartoon Network” segment called “D.C. Nation”. I say this because I recall advertisements for the announcement of this segment. In them, they talked about the concept for this new segment. Each show that would run on it would get one or two seasons, then no matter what they would end. I have had trouble finding these exact advertisements now and again, but I still can remember seeing them. Plus this is the reason why all of the shows from “D.C. Nation” are shorter in season number. Shows like “The Green Lantern Animated Series”, “Beware the Batman”, and many more. I will admit, I didn’t like every show from “D.C. Nation” but the idea of the segment intrigued me. If there was a show that was bad, just wait and it will end. If there was a show that was good, then you basically got two seasons of it guarantied. I say all of this because I have not heard many people talk about this fact. Some even seem to believe that this was not a founding rule of “D.C. Nation”, nor do some even know that these shows came from “D.C. Nation” at all. This leading many to believe that the good shows from “D.C. Nation” where robbed of more seasons, when in fact the opposite is the case. As “D.C. Nation” gained more years under it’s belt, it started braking there own rules for the popular shows. Hence why some shows like “Young Justice”, “Teen Titans Go”, and so on have more then two seasons. Now I say all of this because, people should know the reasons these shows existed they way they do. For example, another fun fact about “D.C. Nation” is that all of there shows gave the creators full control. They could do whatever they wanted, with whatever character they wanted. This (as you can imagine) lead to many out there and interesting shows. Shows that may have never existed without “D.C. Nation”. For whatever reason, many people just don’t talk about this fact. Yet it needs to be addressed, for it explains why these shows exist the way they do. I just wanted to state all of this for the record, before anything else is said. With that finely out of the way, let’s now talk about the “Young Justice” show. I must admit, I liked some shows from “D.C. Nation” and I hated some shows from it as well. The “Young Justice” show being one that I hated. It felt more like a “Teen Titans” fan fiction to me, and a bad one at that. Some Ideas where interesting, but over all I thought everything in the show was made more complicated then it needed to be. Sometimes it felt like things just happened because the script said so. Take the ending of season one as an example of this. Considering you stated spoilers in the video above, I will state some down here as well. Anyone reading beyond this point has been warned. This show is trying to tell me that the entire “Justice League” became mind controlled by the “Mole” with no fuss. Are you kidding me. Not only should many members of the “Justice League” be immune to this, but somehow they all got mind controlled and no one noticed. Not Superman (using super-hearing or any of his powers that would give the “Mole” away in seconds), not Wonder Woman, not the Flash, not Green Lantern (Let’s not forget that his superpower is WILL POWER!!!), not even Batman! The self proclaimed “Worlds Greatest Detective” didn’t notice anything strange at all! The “Justice League” also wasn’t all mind controlled at once, meaning that many of the team members had plenty of time to catch on to what was going on. Batman was even the last one to be controlled, and somehow he couldn’t tell anything strange was going on. It’s sad too because it felt like if it was a “Justice League” show instead, the problem would be solved by the “Justice League” in one episode. But because it wasn’t, it somehow took place slowly over an entire season. I can’t under any circumstances call this good writing. To top it off, they end the season with the “Young Justice” team fighting the “Justice League”. It’s ridicules to have them fight the “Justice League” at all. One of the reasons for this is because (like I said before), this shouldn’t have happened to begin with. Another reason for this is because realistically, the “Justice League” would beat the living snot out of the “Young Justice” team. They wouldn’t last two seconds, let alone win the fight. People say that the show got worse as it went on, however from season one I hated this level of writing. The reason, because they do stuff like this all the time. Things that don’t make sense but happen anyway just because. I could go on, however I would be here all day talking about everything wrong with the “Young Justice” show. So for now I’ll end it there and just say this. I thought your video was vary informative and it was vary interesting to hear your thoughts on the show in question.

Thank you so much for commenting and listening to my rambling. I definitely didn't know about the dc nation aspect of the show’s creation; as you could probably tell, I came at it from a consumer's perspective, and didn't do much research into the production. For me, when watching the show, it was always a question of how much I could buy in order to get to the good stuff, which is the character interactions. So, the ending of season one, while nonsenaical at times, wasn't enough to break that immersion and keep me from enjoying it. Still, your insight and perspective is certainly valid and interesting. Thanks again for watching!

@@WhereIStandIsWhereIFall Not only are you welcome but thank you for the friendly response. Sadly don't get many of those on the internet. Hence why I rarely comment at all, so know that I don't do this with just any video. I have seen some of your other stuff as well and I got to say, I liked more of it then I expected. We also seem to agree on most things involving things like this. We don't agree on everything, however I'm not the kind of fellow to hold that against anybody. I'm also glad that you agreed with my stance on "Young Justice" as well. I have a feeling most would try and defend that plot point, when it has no right to be defended. So thank you for that. Also I know how you feel, you are not the only writer here. I my self am working on many projects as well. I wish us both luck with all of them. You could look over my work if you are interested, however I'm sending no links, The reason is because I normally refuse to channel plug my self. I'm only saying any of this now, because I think you might be interested in some of my work. On one last note, yes "D.C. Nation" was amazing. It created many good shows and I'm sad it ended. It also is annoying when almost no one brings it up. Because then they say things like "The Green Lantern show was so good. It should have gotten more seasons. The creators where robbed." when (as I mentioned before) that can't be farther from the truth. Weather we like it or not, the show runners went into all of those shows knowing they would only get two seasons at most. So if they ended something on a cliff hanger, they knew exactly what they where doing. The hole "D.C. Nation" thing is a fascinating subject, and I would to talk it over with anyone anytime. All in all it's been a joy chatting with you and I wish you good luck.

Any chance you going to critique season 4?

Chances are pretty good once I actually watch it. Unfortunately, I'm working on a bunch of other projects and working six days a week, so it probably won't be anytime soon. Hope you enjoyed the video, though!

Here off the strength of your KH content. I ain't even a DC fan, ain't seen naan Young Justice episode (or even Titans Go), but you put too much thought into your videos for me to just stick to the KH content. Here, take my miniscule algorithm boost. I'll be back with more when I develop more opinions about a show I ain't never watched.

Opinions for the algorithm: -I don't mind timeskips if adequate focus is given to fleshing out why any key character changes happened. I think it can be a nice slow burn reconstructing the changes. Danganronpa 3 was... a show of all time... but one cute thing they did was revealing key details from the past in parallel to their conclusions in the future. It seems like YJ tried, but maybe didn't tend to bridging the gap as much as DR3. -I don't think diversity makes a show better, but well executed diversity does. Iono, I'm kinna utilitarian in my media analysis.
