Honestly, the single was perfect timing with streaming and KZbin being the way of making singles hot, but like you said waiting so long to push an album hurt her. And I get her not wanting to put the single on her album which was probably to avoid the Fetti Wap curse, but unlike him, she created no new singles between Ooo and the album to really keep a buzz or hype going.
