The English translation kind of ruined the introduction. Her English is good. But English and Chinese Kung Fu just don't mix well.

I think you will be happy to know that English and emei kung fu mixed very well together for me. I was able to learn much about emei and master Ling Yun. If you didn’t already know, you might be glad to find that kung fu is taught all over the world, now? Italy, Argentina, Russia, France… the list goes on of friends i have from different countries who practice kung fu…but speak little Chinese. In their case, they would all agree that kung fu and their language mix quite well.

⁠@@LaifuLama- Thank you for your question. I will do my best to answer for you. Using the english expression, “learned about“ means one has received some knowledge about something. But, “knowledge” and “experience” are different in English. If I had gained “experience”, I would have been able to video myself with the new “experience” learned. However, no one can video “knowledge“ since this is in your memory. Think of it like this: One can visit a bakery and “learn about “ what the store has to offer. Another can visit the bakery, learn that they offer red bean buns, buy it and eat it. This one can say they have gained “experience “ eating at that bakery, whereas the first visit only “learned about” what the bakery has to offer. I hope this helps a little to understand what I mean when I say I was able to “learn about Emei Kung Fu” having watched the video with English. Let me know if you have other questions?
