I wish all salons had this bit for their clientele.. I have gotten burned by nail techs and it doesn't feel good at all. every salon/nail tech should have this in their equipment.

I just got mine today and used it....... IM INLOVE. There are no other words for it! I've been a nail tech for 11 years and ive finally discovered the best thing on the market. Its great with removal of gel polish (eg shellac, gelish, artistic colour gloss) and also great on rebalancing acrylic. Its so nice and sharp and just briliiant. I would recommend this product in a heart beat!

If you are doing your own nails, you should have both. For your clients, just the right handed is ok.

You don't want to use it directly on the nail bed. The safety bit is to take down the enhancement on top of the nail.

I had a class sunday, & yes, she used this to file down the acrylic, but not totally remove it... just to take down the thickness!! :)

There is no need to remove it all. You can remove most of it down to the base layer and start the process over.

I recently brought the safety bit from one of your distributors here in Honolulu and love it so much that I wanted to purchase another one which is the diamond diamond cross cut bit. Unfortunately they did not have it so I was tried your website and was going to purchase it from there for 17.99 or something. But since I'm from Honolulu there was a shipping cost of $100. Why is that? Is not flammable so why would or cost that much. Also the packaging is small so why would it not be able to send it by UPS and pay priority shipping price. So disappointed that I can't get that bit.

Hi Kornelija, for use on the natural nail we use it on low. For removing artificial we have it half way up. There is no need to use it faster than that.

Town of Berkley ConCom you are leaving your bits in the barbicide too long if they are rusting. ten minutes then out they go.

A lot of places refer to this bit as a " smooth top bit" you can find them on ebay as well. Other places have safety bits too but they are different then this, they protect from burning and they're are more cone shaped. :)
