I don’t see a way in which Agust can ever redeem himself. He did all this out of spite, jealousy and pettiness. You realise now Simon is fucked for life. This will follow him for the rest of his life and I believe it will play a big factor in S2 and what that could mean for Simon. Simon doesn’t have the same privileges that Wilhelm and Agust do. I was raging with fury when he released that video. I knew eventfully there would be a make or break situation for Wilhelm and Simon but not like this.

Simon on the other hand there’s no way he can be shielded from this. I have a feeling in S2 he will have to through shit alone. Unless Wilhelm finds the courage to be there for him in the eyes of the public.

I don't see a f*cking way in hell where I can forgive August, he literally destroyed Simon's reputation, that video is going the be end of his private life and I can't even start to think how he's going to get thru this. And when Wilhelm denied he's in the video he took a huge protection away from Simon, people doubt if it was the prince or not but Simon is super visible there. I despise August so bad...

I actually loved the fight between Simon, and Wilhelm, the writers let them act like real teenagers, but somehow still managed to depict good communication skill even in a situation where they're both understandings upset plus it's good to have flaws character in this show.

So beasically she knew he posted the video and decided not to tell her brother who did it (so that he could be punished or so they can at least cut him out of their lives). Instead she went to august and blackmailed him into giving her everything she wanted (or thinks she wants) and then proceeded to sleep with him even though he and her best friend had barely been broken up two weeks (I know she didn't really love him, but as a friend it's still kind of a rule that you at least talk to the friend before acting on any kind of crush). Anyway, she basically withheld important information about who ruined her brothers life from her brother. I know she has aspergers and that excuses it a little bit since she doesn't understand the social rules and sarcasm and stuff (correct me if I'm wrong) but it's still a really really really crappy thing to do.

Did anyone notice how the light around Wilhelm and Simon keeps changing to reflect their situation. In the first episode at the party it was dark. Slowly the light around them kept getting brighter and then at the sea it was completely bright. It reflected their happiness. However during the bedroom scene the light got dim again and stayed dim towards the end of the episode. It was like as if the writers were hinting to us that darkness was coming back. Something would happen that would put them back in the darkness again. UGHHHHHH SOO MANY EMOTIONS!!!!!

I know I am a year late, but it is utterly ridiculous to say August is broke. August is an extended part of the Royal Family, he probably has millions in assets, and like the mom said, sell a painting or two and he can still keep his home. Simon is poor, so his option is to quit or sell drugs--really just to get the money back the rich people manipulated him into spending.

I understand Simon, to be honnest, because he doesn't want to be sacrified for the crown and the rich... but i'm kinda sad he didn't realise how far Wilhelm goes to protect him. After all, Simon was still the one who supplied the drugs... he doesn't seem to realize how dangerous everything is for Wilhelm (and even the fact that he's in love with him). The reason August is so opposed to selling his shit is like the larger trend of the countryside nobility being unsustainable today, and it always starts with selling off a bit and they never regain it/eventually have to give up their estates completely. August said during the parents day lunch that he wants to study agriculture so that he can modernize/turn around his estate. So I think he doesn't want to sell it off before he even gets a chance to do that.

Honestly, even though I knew what August would do, I still had the slightest of hopes that his conscience would prevail. Because deep down he isn't a bad person but man, pride dost goest before the fall. His ego could not take the embarrassment. And what did he think was going to happen after doing that anyway? Everyone was going to find out about him being broke eventually. And even now that Wilhelm fixed his tuition situation, it doesn't undo the fact that he still has no liquid cash. So he's gone and betrayed the only person who wasn't his friend out of fear/associated with him because it would benefit them. Granted, Wille never liked him that much but he still gave him a chance because they're family (and Erik told him to). Props to Malte for playing his role to perfection. I disliked August from the trailer but I can still sympathize with him.

I mean... August sat on that video for a while, I don't think he had the intention of ever showing it. At most I think he'd consider using it as leverage to get his way or potentionally money from Wilhelm. You can tell that August regretted uploading the video when he realized Wilhelm had helped him out behind the scenes. No one is a Saint in this show, we get to see the events through Wilhelm and Simon's perspective, but lemme remind you that Wilhelm blamed an innocent bystander for his mistake with the drugs and Simon stole his father's medication and lied about the whole thing. There aren't heroes and villains with this show.
