“They’re as messed up as we are.” That is a really unfortunate line because Paige’s parents divorced and now, with the most recent episode being the birth of Georgie’s daughter, it looks like Sheldon’s parents are also on the way to divorce.

OK - back then LONE STAR BEER was the sh-- beer in TEXAS, if you were constipated you drank it so you would get unclogged. Also, in this show they are supposed to be devout Baptists, and one of the planks or tenets of the Baptist Platform is no drinking alcohol, no dancing, etc. I grew up in the belt-buckle of the Bible Belt in Texas, there was a Baptist Church on every corner of every intersection, and we are Catholic and there were only 2 Catholic churches in the area, but about 20 liquor stores, so who do you suppose supported all those liquor stores? Was inside one of the stores once when one of the church's Baptist Ministers pulled up to the drive-thru window to get his already packed up "called in" order. Want to know how to get someone to drink all of your beer when you go fishing? Take a Baptist fishing with you. Want to know how to be able to drink all of your beer yourself while you are fishing? Take 2 Baptists fishing with you.
