Yeah, no. If a girl wants to raise a hand against a boy the boy has every right to defend himself however he has to. This doesn't mean he has to hurt her, just use enough force to make her stop.

@Christopher Bingham Bullying should never be allowed and if parents and peers aren't going to step in and stop it than that leaves the victim, and as long as they're not using excessive force I see no reason why they can't defend themselves however they have to. If words don't work they have no choice but to get physical. Who knows, shoving a brat down so you can use the water fountain in peace might just be what they need to start thinking about their actions and being a better person.
