The “awkward moments” are actually thought pauses. The way he takes his time to think about & articulate his response and their patience with waiting for his full answer is appreciated! A lot of ppl would’ve rushed his thought process or cut him off. This is a good interview!

True. Thug is exceptionally thoughtful throughout this interview imo. Not allowing the pressures of the moment to rush your thoughts and words is a learned discipline for some of us.

He speaking facts. I came to Atlanta from N.O after Katrina. A couple real dudes from Atl held me down the whole time I stayed there. Dudes ain't have to do that but it was all love and them dudes was real. The Terraces Apts on hapeville and Mt zion is where I lived for 3 years. Atlanta had a real black love type vibe that I respect. Some dudes from nola were robbing and doing shit like that but, I didn't have to go that route. I showed love and got it back 10 fold. I rock with atl for life. Period.

I've been a huge fan of Thugger for years - he's a genius, with unlimited potential but I was floored by him during this interview. He is so disarmingly and refreshingly honest, self aware and reflective - he an OG for real and the world clearly better start listening to more than just this man's music.
