How I hate that Jeffery Williams entered into a plea agreement. The state did NOT prove their case at all. The way they treated the defendants, defense attorneys, witnesses, jurists, and the people of Fulton County was abhorrent and they did NOT deserve a win. The entire prosecution teams should have their law licenses revoked and brought up on charges for any abuse of power and severe misappropriation of county time and resources. It is disgusting that he had to plead guilty because of the horrific way the state presented this case. The prosecution broke the rules over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again! Bringing it 2 1/2 yrs after the trial started to a likely mistrial to be retried again leaving him in jail for several months before another trial could be started that could take 3 to 4 more years to get to verdict. The entire time he was held in jail with no bond away from his family. The state severely overcharged this case making it complicated and beyond their ability to keep organized and streamline. Saying cars were “riddled with bullets” and when judge asked how many they say it was 1 bullet! The entire case was exaggeration and twisting facts to fit their narrative that they couldn’t even keep straight. Countless times the prosecutors would gaslight and or NOT hand over Brady material until AFTER they made whatever claim they were lying about to the jury and only handing it over when defense learned evidence existed proving state lied again and knew it was a lie. State knitted a narrative they tried to prove but couldn’t. Saying lyrics were about murder and an admission of guilt. Then we discover song was written years earlier and sometimes written by other artists. Facts never mattered to Ms Love just her story telling. Hence the reason her “star witness” was an admitted habitual liar who told her repeatedly he lied and would say what he had to in order to get suspicion off of him. It is a travesty of Justice that Mr Williams pleaded guilty. Thankful for the judge gave him time served and probation, but Ms Love, Ms Hilton, and Ms Willis should be barred from speaking in court and running any prosecution of cases. They should lose their jobs and their freedom! They should be forced to pay back the cost of this trial! Disgusting excuses for human beings all 3!

Some people don't understand why he took a plea and i get it BUT Going to trial and lasting a minimum of another 3-4 months but probably longer is tough. You never know with a jury So its a huge decision. After 2 1/2 years incarcerated, friends testifying against you and facing a potentially life sentence is emotional on even the Strongest. Then an offer to be released on parole and end the emotional rollercoaster is understandably too good to pass up. Though, he did have a chance of a mistrial and starting all over or being acquitted but instead can end uncertainty

@lcjones46822 күн бұрын
And this is what people who say he shouldn’t have taken a deal don’t understand. Yea, he should be found not guilty because the State botched the case and had no real evidence. But people are not always logical or reasonable. You could have a couple of people who don’t like rappers pushing for guilty and this man spend decades in prison. It would be a huge risk to go through with the jury trial. And appeals take years. Although it sticks to be on probation for that long maybe it will be best for him as he has to make changes in order to comply.

The judge did not do any good deeds for him. What she did was enter him into slavery for 15 years. Free concerts and give back with money and time. It’s unfair ! Truly and sadly this judge did disservice to the justice system. The judge and prosecutors and lawyers all work together. They are working against you not for you!!!! This is really sad! I will never ever take Judge Whitaker, Fanni, love or Hylton seriously. The judge want to act like she stand on business and this was the weakest form of authority shown in court. Judge Whitaker really scared to go against the prosecution team because she knows they are dirty❗️❗️

@lcjones46822 күн бұрын
I disagree. I actually think she was fair and has been fair in every plea agreement. She could have imposed stricter restrictions as the State wanted and she did not have to order him released with time served. She even brought up things neither side mentioned like being able to keep his passport. She knew the State botched the case. And the last few weeks she basically was tired of the State. She def would have called for mistrial with prejudice which neither side wanted because that would mean starting all over. And He did plead guilty so she couldn’t set him free like he was not guilty. Lastly, you can be innocent but when you associate with people who are doing crimes then you also will face consequences. And Thug was caught with drugs and guns.

I love this judge because not only does she honer the constitution, but she also understands how poverty contributes to the criminal element and how people can be wrongly guilty by association based on the people they pull from the situation. She is also fair and none-bais and made her judgment based on logic, facts, and the circumstances of the cases orgin. She saw the injustice looming and proved the court systems can change for the better. She absolutely saw through the states BS and held them accountable by setting an innocent man free. She did all this within the perameters of the law and didn't jeopardize or tarnish the integrity of the state judicial system. She cleaned up the states mess, got the DA off the hook for abuse of power and freed a clearly innocent man. Everyone won today, and the judge is the reason. Everyone saying this exposed the states' corruption is right, but it also exhibited how important being a fair judge of character can affect the systematic and unjust treatment of ⚫️ people in america. This judge is invited to every cookout i ever attend or host for the rest of my life.
