It's not okay. It's one of the most BASIC principles of practice that the judge should NEVER have meetings in Chambers with one party without the other parties being informed and present. And absolutely nobody should be speaking to any witness under oath I am absolutely appalled.

I also think that given the serious nature of the allegations thay the court would try to avoid the appearance of impropriety. But the judge and the prosecutor both come off as being at least equally as corrupt as the defendants. Serious credibility issues in this courtroom. And the only people that helps is the defendants.

Thing is, I think the defendants are guilty, so it would be nice if the judge and prosecutor weren't screwing up the case. The defendants still get appeals after this, so they should really be trying to follow all applicable court rules to a T.

This case will get a mistrial....b/c of the corrupt judge and prosecutors This lawyer will be release as soon as the appeal is filed and heard. The SYSTEM wil hold the judge accountable. It is very ironic that the judge denies orchestrating a private meeting but violates the law and Mr. Steel’s rights and arrests him for refusing to tell him how he received that information. Shame on you, Ural needs to be locked up immediately! He should not be and is not above the law. He should have honored his right and choice to keep his source confidential. This has one of the most unfair trials I have ever seen!

This judge was wrong in so many ways! He will be investigated for judicial misconduct. He violated the Defendant's constitutional rights by meeting secretly w/ a witness & the prosecutor in chambers without telling the defense. Defense has a right to be present for all actions pertaining to their case. The judge was intimidating the witness to testify.
