A small tip for Evan or any uke/guitar player: If you look in the video, his left shoulder seems to be really stiff. This may be because his thumb is almost wrapping around the neck of the uke. If you try dropping your wrist, it makes it a lot easier to play more difficult chords (like barring) and helps to let you play longer. You just want to keep your shoulders really loose while playing an instrument like that, especially if you're singing. But anyways, It's been months since I first saw this video and I just keep coming back to it bc I love hearing Evan sing tbh

Like I said, definitely get into the habit of dropping your wrist. I have fairly small hands as well, and I play it using my pointer, middle, and pinky finger. Try getting really close to the fret also. You can also use a variation, but it won't sound as nice. I hope that helped
