This song is so beautiful. What I'm about to say is not directly involving this song but this song among many other things helps me feel the holy spirit in my heart. I feel moved to tell everyone who is a believer and follower in Christ to tell everyone that God is alive in us just as much now as he has ever been. He is not fading from us, but I think people today are fading from Him and I see it more and more. I live it every day I go to my high school and it breaks my heart to hear what people say about God. I'm sure many of us can agree when I say sometimes it is overwhelming and we feel outnumbered. But I say that we need to stand up for Jesus like he did for us the day he died for us on the cross. It is so amazing how he said before he died, "forgive them for they know not what they do". He said that after all of what happened to him. Love this song! It brings to mind something my mom once said to me: "humility is being still in the storm of God's will". I feel this really come alive in this song: "Your love is crashing over me it's surging like a raging sea immerse me in the wonder of your love a downpour of unending grace consuming all my reckless ways my sins submerged, your love has saved my soul" Being able to place your life in God's hands and trust him takes a lot of courage, to be able to let go and become immersed in his wonders, and trusting that he's going to give you strength to keep on breathing while you're submerged in the ocean of his love, and the storm of his will. Another thing my mom always said, is that God will give us the deepest desires of our heart - because he put them there after all! So in trusting him, and allowing ourselves to be still in his gracious tempest, we know that he will be good to us. What a paradox that God should be a raging storm, but also that still small voice of calm.

I used to sing in a worship band for many years. We once sang this song at a christian festival and I was singing the lead. Just remembering the really tough moments that I had to live a few moths ago. This song helped me a lot ( also - touch the sky), when I needed to feel Jesus in my heart. At the beginning of this year I didn't have a good relationship with God but I prayed to him to take the ppl out of my life that didn't belong there. He took ppl out of my life one by one. It hurt but not too much bc these ppl were from a different state. But I went on a missions trip to help the homeless after I was set on fire for the Lord at a church camp. I prayed to God once again to remove the ppl from my life that didn't belong there. He took the three friends I had in school. It hurts a lot more bc they were my only friends. Then again I asked him to do this for me. Idk why I asked him but I did and he's keeping the promises he's made to me. Even though it is hard I'm trying not to regret my prayer. I'm praising him everyday. I never saw myself as being the one bullied in school but it's starting. God says that we will go through persecution and I will survive with the strength knowledge and wisdom of my God. I ask that you will take the time to pray for me. For strength and for a shield of protection over my heart. I ask that you pray for diligence in my daily life and that I won't be ashamed of who my God is. Thank you guys! I love you!

ever since i was diagnosed with depression, i took a break from Church and my Cell group. Isolated myself from the world and hid within the four walls of my home From a week, it became a month. And before you know it, it has been a year now. As my days pass, the further i drifted from God. It comes to a point where i feel the God whom i used to serve and love so much is not a factor in my life anymore. And i do not know what to do about it. Because i was away for so long, I can't seem to find the genuine love for Him i once had again.. I am very lost and i don't know what is next for me.. Gabriel isolation is a dangerous thing because it causes us to feel alone and without help for our problems. It also makes us feel unloveable. I went through a period in my life for many years where my walk and love grew cold for God. I knew he was always there waiting on me to get my priorities in order. After years of drifting and getting into sin I began to feel I had wore Gods patience out for me and he was done with me. After a series of events I found He was still there waiting for me with open arms. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. NOTHING!
