Good tip for Mahi processing and other large frame fish: you can use a spoon on the frame to scoop off parts of the meat you missed when filleting, so you can then turn into a fish mince or sashimi! Just watch out for worms with sashimi from wild caught fish!

I grew up and lived in hawaii for 29 years. Loved when my pops and I went out fishing in the channel and snagged some mahi mahi. Incredible specimen and probably my favorite fish to eat. Especially when simmered in a garlic butter sauce. Yum!!!

Mr. Brody I realized why I love your videos, beyond the fact that they are beautiful and you live a life anyone wild be proud of. My friend William Dunn was an amazing fisherman and was very energetic. This man loved the water and the life within it. He passed away sadly way to young from demons and addictions. You mentioned you don't really drink once with Vicki and I was surprised to know this about you. You are truly an inspiration in the fact that life is a blessing and fun while sober. Thank you for reminding me of William and how life could easily be just that much better if we could only overcome the obstacles that lay before us

Absolutely love watching you guys and girls fish or just search for land crabs 🦀 and other species during low tide etc. Preserving and releasing the females is something most anglers don't care much about, however, puts you folks at the top in my opinion compared to most others out there. Very tasty fish , I was stationed in Hawaii while in the military . One weekend a group of guys pitched in money for a fishing trip for marlins and anything else . We caught one marlin and one mahi mahi . Like I said , very good eating fish
