You may not know this Brodie, but that humpback whale about 8 minutes in was doing a "trumpet" noise with their blowhole. They are known for making that noise to warn other species when an orca is nearby. My guess is that whale knew the shark was nearby and was trying to save your life.

I am so glad that you have more videos. I am a 66 yo man that use to fish in the Gulf of Mexico in the US. I built a tiny home on my mother and stepfather's property to take care of them when they get to the point they need help. I spent everything I had to build my house. After a year my stepdad decided that I was not needed so he put the property up for sale and sold everything out from under me. They sold my boat and my pick-up, so I had to purchase a used camper/caravan and find a place to live. Sorry, didn't mean to spill all of that, but I have nobody to chat with. I have been watching your videos to a couple of years and that is my only life now. Watch videos and wait to die. Thanks for all you do. Eddie in Old Town, Florida.

Your life story seems similar to what most people are like. Stay safe and find the right path. No money or house is of any use to us. You die. Stay well, uncle. As you can see, this is my personal thumbnail. I pray and prostrate to God Almighty. Here, life has no value to me. Moments of prostration and worship of God and the Messenger.

The days will get better, its unprevetable. You'll wake up one day and be exactly where you had wished now that you were - we always meander towards the things we might wish to have its just in our nature - the bad never disappears but we always find a way to pass the time even if it means heading down with a chair and drink to a tiny little pond with a silly little kids fishing rod or some other silly little thing and maybe some Youngblood in the background to pass time - or something, i don't know, its your life.

@@Gabrielnobre tell me about it! One one of the Nat Geo SharkFest or Discovery Sharkweek shows, some divers in South Africa were testing a white shark's 'reaction' to color contrast (they had long black swimfins and a yellow wetsuit): they had a good sized white shark circling them as they filmed it (they were also using hose O2 rather than tanks)--and he was circling VERY close, when he suddenly whipped his head around and grabbed one of the divers' swimfins. I war surprised how flexible a shark's head can be, but as soon as I saw it, I thought--OK, it's going down.

One time when I was in Exmouth, my family and I were fishing about 3 kilometres from shore. We suddenly saw this whale looking creature and knew it was a Whale shark. Since they are so rare, everyone put on their bathers in hope to swim with it even though we were in deep water where we couldn't see the bottom. We lost it whilst we were putting on our bathers and were driving around for about 5 to 10 minutes trying to find it. Suddenly we saw this massive fin just under a metre long on the surface. If we were to have found the Whale shark again we probably would have been shark dinner. Turns out it was a massive 4 to 5 metre Great White shark just about 10 metres away from our SMALL boat. Fortunately, no one jumped in the water and we all lived with a great story to tell.

This is a perfect example of a Great White in full agonistic display mode, arching its back and pointing its pectoral fins straight down in an threatening display of aggression. Thanks for sharing
@-samart2004-Ай бұрын
That White shark definitely did not want you around. At around 15:06 in the video, you can see it do a threat display with its pectoral fins by pointing them downward. This is a known threat display that's been seen in numerous different shark species, including White sharks.

I know this guy knows his stuff, he does it weekly. My comment however is that you really don’t want to be isolated in the open ocean with a great white that isn’t a juvenile bc even if that big shark doesn’t want to intentionally do you harm, they tend to be very aggressive when only 1 target is near them. They will come up from under you at about 23mph and strike you dead on from below. They can leap about 12-15 feet in the air at full speed. Not only do you get hit with 2,000+lbs of force but they tend to open their jaws wide on underwater attacks so they can grab and destroy in one hit. Orca’s commonly do this with seals. They will hit it from below and use their tail to smack it about 30+ feet in to the air. There are KZbin videos on this actually happening.
