Greatest gen parents seemed pretty controlling early on in boomers life, the cia did drug generations of people, but the core of the issue and helicopter parent predecessor was the reasonable desire of those who saw ww2 and great depression era to enforce better material life onto them without the precise hardship that allowed the morality to develop. Gives some hope, the morality of a secular cycle tend to develop from problems most apparent in the end state of the previous cycle. The urbanites causing problems in the world arn't reproducing outside of school indoctrination, It's probably going to be a home-school future where childhood internet access is heavily restricted.

I really dislike the term "The Greatest Generation". No disrespect to those who made great sacrifices in WW2, but does that make them greater than the generation that fought in the American Revolution? Some of the problems that we are facing became really entrenched in our culture after WW2. Modern Public school system which conditions children to be mindless workers/consumers became emphasized, the concept of "Teenagers" when before kids who got to that age were simply expected to be and act like adults and learn useful skills, push towards big corporations rather than small businesses, etc to name a few.

Yes. I'm not from the U.S. but whenever I travel to visit family, the times I've talked to a young person or even an adult, they seem to know even less about their nation than I do. One time I brought up 'taxation without representation' in a conversation with two U.S. natives, one roughly the same age as me and the other younger. Neither of them understood what I meant when I said the U.S. was founded on that.... like wtf do they even teach people in the U.S.?

Everyone is still allowed to vote, but the efficacy of that vote is determined by the score on the exam. There will be no teaching to the test, instead people will have to rely upon their own motivation to self educate to ensure everyone gets the efficacy they deserve via their own free will choices.

My older son got his first overt serving of THE MESSAGE last week. School is giving it as the last lesson section, unironically called "Family Life." Its a school in a lower income area where the citizens vote for authoritarian globalist statism. My only regret is that he couldn't record it, it would have made headlines. He was said "nobody in the class bought it, they even laughed at the teacher- who was one of the kids favorite PE teachers- when he said it." I know, an exception doesn't prove the rule, but it does prove some of the kids are rejecting THE MESSAGE.
