My dad was shot in the head twice and his leg and survived. I was around 8. The people thought he was my uncle at a red light in Memphis. It's a miracle he's still here, walking around with bullets still lodged in him.. he suffers from PTSD and severe anxiety now😢

Age gaps are most often a issue . And it becomes more obvious,the elder they get (one of them...) But if both are adults ( meaning at LEAST over 25 , brain is not fully developed before 25 , not even if person seem mature), one might still make it. This couple seem very in tune. I hope they wont get to big a issue when one of them suddenly get a LOT more obviously older .

I might be the minority here, but I actually think it’s selfish and terrible of her to put such a good man through this type of drama because she is mentally ill and has trauma that she needs to work through. What she needs to do is see a therapist not be calling up Steve Wilkos.

I think she does need some counseling but I could see why her being told that he was cheating as being a trigger. It's not like she was suspicious of it before. I don't think there's enough help in the world that can take 100% of her trauma away. Let's say you drive off bridge one day and live. You may be able to drive across a bridge again but if you see another car swerve ahead of you, you may freak out. And that's what happened to her. She didn't look for cheating, someone brought it to her.

she didn't put him through it for no reason, though. her family member (& judging by the context, a close one) told her he was cheating. i found out about exes cheating the same way. she's not going to take the statement lightly, and she wanted to call steve cause it was a he-said vs they-said. she's probably been in and still is in therapy for being...ya know...shot in the head twice.

I completely agree, however even with help she will still carry that trauma and projection is normal especially after the ordeal she went through. Honestly I don't think it would be an issue if her family weren't interfering, it sounds like they're prolonging her suffering and putting things in her head 😞 but I really do agree she should seek therapy ❤

@@englishrose0309 this is completely untrue. While she may still have the thought or memory of the incident it wouldn’t always bring her discomfort or fear. I’ve been doing intense trauma work in group and individual settings for 4 years after something I experienced during my teen years and with proper therapy, medication, and persistence your body literally relearns and reroutes those receptors. There is science behind trauma work like EMDR. It is miraculous for vets and victims of serious crimes. The only issue is so many people are okay with being victims or enabling victims that we justify this behavior instead of encouraging them to heal. So ultimately they stay prisoners of their own mind.

I was sexually abused as a child, raped as a teen and had a gun to put my head by the person who murdered one of my closest friends all before age 18 and while I'm 35 now and have had therapy and I'm on medication for anxiety disorders I still have trouble sometimes daily because of the trauma, it sucks and I'm still working on it and likely always will be and I'm certainly not "ok with being a victim" I'm a survivor but PTSD is a real issue and it's different for everyone. I do think hers is in the extreme and it doesn't look like she's had any real professional help for what happened to her and I hope she can get it ❤️

Age differences like that in the end more than likely wont work out when it's a woman significantly older than a man because women do no age as gracefully as men do. That's going to make her self conscious and jealous the older she gets and you can already tell that's the case.

What are you talking about? It’s genetics on how well someone ages. I’ve seen plenty of good looking older women in my line of work. If you’re taking care of yourself, not stressed out constantly and staying on top of your health you can look very good. Plus brown and black people’s skin age better especially if your skin isn’t sun damaged or you’re not an alcoholic or drugged up.
