I really like your method of doing sleeves first. I think that will help me stay motivated to get smaller parts done first. Those last parts of anything usually are what causes my projects to never get finished. Can't count how many times this has happened to me: crochet, sewing, beading, jewelry making, painting, designing, furniture upcycling, scrapbooking, photography, and now knitting! It's bad, I need to see a dr for it I'm sure. lol

I like knitting sleeves first because they're portable. I can walk and knit on them! Ideally, they could act as a gauge swatch, but I always knit sleeves at a tighter gauge.

The slouch is absolutely perfect! I also like to think about the fact that when it’s really cold I like try to pull the hat lower onto my forehead and ears so that will eat up some more of the slouch.

I love the cotton cables and lace. I don't think the beanie looks terrible, rather cute. But if you would not wear it then change it so you will love it and wear it. I have been known to frog things and end up loving the second or third version. Love the Meg Ryan knits. Love those movies, Nora Ephron was such a great movie maker. I also love Diane Keaton styles, and the clothes in out of Africa are so beautiful too. Thanks for your beautiful videos, love to watch.

I think it would look so cute to wear a colored bra with your yellow jumpsuit and let the straps show on hotter days when you might not want to wear a sweater. Get a bra with pretty straps that arent bra looking. I never thought I would do this but I kind of love it with tops that show bra straps in the summer. So sorry for all your loss. Life can be very hard at times. Your podcast is very inspiring to me. I am knitting the green hat and I love it.

I absolutely love your hat colors, Kaci! I have this pattern in my library to knit as a Christmas gift for my sweet daughter-in-love as she loves the mountains. You are the second podcaster I have watched that has knit this and they were also in a dilemma about it being way too slouchy. I knit another hat in the past that I loved the color work design but ended up not wearing because of the same reason. I don't think my d-i-l likes extreme slouchiness and I don't want to do all that work for it to lay in the bottom of a closet somewhere. I'm going to try to figure out a modification to make it more fitted because I know she will love all those peaks! Your hat is beautiful and I hope you figure out what will make you happiest and grabbing it each time you go out the door!

i think the hat is great! the slouchy isn't too big and actually looks nice and I'm not a slouchy person. but you can alway bring it more down your forhead or roll the cuff more....but I think it's super cute

I love your hat. I personally would take some back, because I like to wear hats more snuggly. But it looks so good. I find all Maxim's hat patterns too big. My unbearable hat came out big despite getting gauge. Loving the vest and shawl too❤.

I really like the slouchy hat on you, like you say very hipster. Can you maybe take in the trousers on the outside leg seam? I had to get trousers taken out for my husband recently and there was extra seam allowance in the outside leg seam for one size. Hope you all feel better.

I saw the Elena pullover on Ravelry but the color of ur yarn is gorgeous. Try to rest and don't overdo. Everything you've made is wonderful but don't always listen to the "choir". If u r not satisfied then change if u feel the slightest bit dissatisfied. I wish I had ur energy. Even when u r sick u still vlog. 😊

I’m not a fan of slouchy hats either. I think I would cut off hem. Put live stitches on needles and unravel hem. Then reknit the rolled hem/ brim. Love your knits and aesthetic!
