Kaci, a little over a week ago, I was in the Ozarks working on cleaning out my brother's house; he passed away a few moths ago. It was so lovely there (and warm). He had a small farm, and seeing your videos makes me think of him. I would up bringing back his little dog, who is learning to get along with 2 border collies. She is very sweet. I enjoy seeing your fiber art adventures, and now I will always think of my older brother when I watch you.

I'm knitting Zanete Knits Freshness socks. It's my first colorwork project, and I'm loving it. You didn’t ask for this advice, but I find reading the Bible really helps me with my anxiety. Reading about God's promise for the future and how he helped his faithful servants of old to cope with their trials gives me confidence that he will guide me through mine. Just a thought, if you want recommendations on specific Bible verses that you can read in your own copy of the Bible, please let me know. I'd be happy to share. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

I am also addicted to corduroy. I always look forward to wearing my corduroys. I just finished a pair of mid-wale corduroy overalls with wider legs, since many of my pin-wale cords are skinny legs (which I understand are "out" now). The return of fascination with '70s fashion is funny for me. Vintage is not a word I used to think was my high school days (egads!) I have been working on Christmas gifts: Two by Two beanie, Staghorn beanie, Flax sweater, Hiedra mitts, wooly scarves. Every now and then, I return to my self-drafted colorwork sweater reminiscent of Marie Wallin sweaters, but with my own motifs. All over colorwork sleeves have proven to be more challenging to get right. I love your podcasts and travel down south with every one!

Beautiful episode! I’m making the Point Edwards Mitts pattern that I found free online. The yarn I’m using is some wooly scraps. I love this pattern because it has a beautiful thumb gusset construction and calls for a “cuff” on the fingers and thumb so that you can unfold it to cover your fingers and thumb. It’s a fun and simple pattern. Thank you for such beautiful episodes. Your MeMade outfits are all so cute!!
