This was a nice long podcast. I really enjoyed it and I was able to knit quite a bit on my maxim hot water bottle. Looking forward to your next podcast ☺

What a lovely podcast. It was great to see all the different projects . . . especially those socks. I am currently teaching myself how to knit and am gift knitting a Sophie scarf, but I have yet to make my first pair of socks. I love all of your Rhinebeck videos as well. Keep up the great work!

Marlene I love the cozy relaxing tone of your videos. I was watching this podcast while knitting on my Siri cardigan by Le Knit to destress as I am studying for my second round of exams. Fingers crossed they go well!

Funny I’m wearing the Degen sweater as I’m watching this ☺️ the colors you’re using are so striking, I can’t wait to see your progress! Also I haven’t picked up my tessellated cardigan in a while 👀 I think I need to re-prioritize it! I’m happy we’re knitting it together at the same pace though ❤

I enjoy watching your videos, Marlene. Happy to hear that you had a great time at Rhinebeck! I feel inspired by your making and it motivates me to keep carrying on in my making as well. I’m currently knitting the Darling cardigan by Kutovakika in combo of fingering wool and mohair yarn from stash but it’s in black and triple stranded, lol. I’m def getting through it because I know I will wear it a lot once it’s finished, just in time for the colder months. Thank you for sending us, US folks, some love in these scary times. I felt the swell of emotions, ngl. Not in a bad way, but just knowing that people out in the world care, to me, it means a lot. 🩷

With Rings of Power, I basically treat it like fanfiction -- just another way to play in the world/universe that Tolkien created. 😂Like you said, if you're a Tolkien purist, you may want to skip it, but if you just love the world, then you'll have a good time. Loved your Rhinebeck videos and eager to see how your wips turn out!

I'm glad someone else already said how great your hair looks so I don't feel like a weirdo :) I'm working on a very low contrast Alpine Bloom hat. I made a high contrast one already and I think it's going to be really pretty. Hopefully a Christmas gift for a friend if it comes out well.
