Our rule is no buying just to collect, so only buy manga that will be read. Been buying that way since the late 90s. Collection manageable and cherished.

I like these videos manga isn't as expensive as it was in the past but there is so many more series! I actually learned from these videos and the communities now about not forcing yourself to go thru with a series. Or keeping stuff you don't like. I purged my old collection form the 2000s and had stuff I didn't want or need and didn't look at in years. Just sat there, thanks for the video!

Plan to get rid of vol 1-3 of solo leveling manhwa (already read it all and it’s alright). I’m debating getting rid of vol 1-6 record or ragnarock as well, since I’m up to date and idk if I want to commit to 20 to possibly 30 volumes. Also have duplicates I plan to get rid of at some point.

New here, Why did you drop Anime? Do you just focus more on Reading Manga instead? I still collect Reincarnated as a Slime, hoping for a 3rd box set eventually. I enjoy most Isekai though. Bofuri I've read it and watched the Anime, not sure I'd but it physical though.

I have probably 4 or 5 volumes of komi that I haven't read yet. I really like it but I do agree that with volume 25 and it still ongoing it is beginning to get somewhat long in the tooth. I took a break from it and may come back when it ends but I don't see myself selling what I currently have.

I feel the same way about spy x family!! I think ill unhaul the 7 or so volumes I have and just stick to the anime - I enjoy the series but I feel like some of the volumes dragged a bit so I haven't felt compelled to buy anymore and idk how long it'll be.

Hi Darksage, great video as usual! You're right, Rent a Girlfriend and Komi don't really move forward, I really like both series but it can definitely get tiresome after a while. That being said, I think it's the same for Nagatoro, we're at volume 14 or 15 and still at the same point...If you haven't read IS, I recommend it, it's my favorite romantic comedy manga, it's fun, funny, and it's a relatively short series (15 volumes).

I mean there is at least notable progression with Nagatoro, senpai is more confident in himself and can actually hang out with her without becoming a mess. Unlike Kazuya who nearly at 300 chapters is still simping at Mizu anytime he sees her in a different outfit

But there was a point where I bought any used Shonen Jump volumes in good conditions, and I just couldn’t connect with the three volumes of Tegami Bachi that I found. The art is pretty, but couldn’t connect with the story or characters.

I just dumped Spy x Family, it's just been... stagnating for the longest time? When we finally see some development, we revert to the one off chapters, too much Anya (understandably doesn't develop much, she's a child, but it's frustrating), or a 4 page "special chapter" that doesn't actually do much beyond being a visual. It's hard to even skim because there doesn't feel like there's much happening and it feels like the plot has been thrown out the window.

So a few things, 1. I respect that you can do this with collection props their 2. I am unclear on what you are looking for in manag ie a. not a isika - really a fantasy one b. more into box set collecting c. feels like your looking for a mature and more fast past story line this correct? 3.
