I'm in a red state, I called to volunteer to do poll work , the person acted very interested ,said they were 400 people short, then asked this question, you will work all day on election day you may have trouble getting in to vote,. I said dont worry I voted already, they have not called me back that was two weeks ago, I realize I gave myself away as a dem. By early voting, and I have never voted so blue.
