No, it's not just you. The Goodwill has gotten very disrespectful with their prices. Especially to be a not for profit. They price items like they're Ross or Big Lots or somethin. I personally have stopped patronizing their stores and go to small, local community thrift stores that have purpose, service the community needs and actually have Thrift store type of prices.

Hi Kayla, the prices at our Goodwills/Thrifts here in Dallas, Texas, is absolutely ridiculous. We have seen the worst conditioned items listed for darn near regular retail prices. It is almost to the point that they are becoming obsolete for shopping. I think your style is Mid-Century Modern. You love that charm of the mid- century and you love the modern flare with the clean airy feel.

I totally agree. The prices are going up. That mustard chair is easily $50 in my area. I visited a few weeks ago and saw a headboard for $299. My tufted headboard from Macy's was on clearance for $299 brand new. Your style looks like shabby chic. If you google and look at the images, they match. I love it!

Yes girl, everything has gone up in price. But, things can’t stay cheap for 10 years. We living in a different economic now. You can still finds some deals in Goodwill. Take it home, do some DIY, and make it your own. I have seen some Crate & Barrel and RH items. 😊
