Loving the house updates!! For the basket ladder in the dining room I would Recommend using it for table linens. You could use one basket for napkins, one for table runners, one for table clothes, and then maybe the lower shelves for seasonal items or even games for the living room. You could even use it in the living room for things like small games like decks of cards and blankets or other items you need in the living room!

I have a suggestion. Wash your dishes in the left side of sink, then on the right side put your dish drain in there. Then you have a lot of extra counter space! You just rinse your dishes in the drain and let them dry, or dry when ready!!

This is so exciting! I love following your new home owner journey! I have a tip for counter space. One thing that you can do is while the dishes are drying, stick them in the dish washer instead of using the drying rack. I have been doing this and now I don't even use my drying rack anymore and it saves so much space. Also be careful with the microwave being on the cabinet like that. The steam from the microwave running might stain the bottom of the shelf above it and the side. Love what you did with the hallway!!
