Yess! My clients so far are only family members and they know I’m not a pro yet so they always have things to say about how I’m doing the work. I started using this grip and it’s both easier to maneuver the finger AND to block them from seeing the process. It allows me to think better when it’s just me & the nails.

You're just the absolute best. I'm in nail school now. Watched a ton of your videos 6 months prior to school. Was totally new to the whole technology of nails and service. I've got to say, your vids are more correct and higher quality than any other tech I've seen. Your tips are awesome. And your care is incredible. School teaches that bonds and acetone aren't "toxic". Completely untrue. Your training on using efile to remove gel polish as well as acrylic sculptures is so so so much healthier for clients nails, and lu n gs and whole body. SOAK ( acetone) sucks. I trust you and I absolutely live you.❤ by the way, your acid free protein bond is healthy and effective. Thank you. Also, the school has a contract with a different line of products for students...YET, the instructors all agree that YN products are the best and they personally use YN. Lol. Lol. Students all agree that YN is the best, too. So they promote your products even though the school as an institution promotes and sells a different line. I buy your products, too. THANK YOU. LOVE TO YOU ALL.

So at my spa, we soak the nails in water in the beginning to soften the cuticles.. we also massage the hands and arms with lotion… when should I use the drill on the nail bed to get off any oils?
@youngnailsinc6 ай бұрын
If you are applying enhancements, we do not recommend soaking the nails or applying lotions or oils prior to the service. We would follow the steps for prepping (push back cuticles, remove shine with the efile and medium sanding band, cleanse with Swipe and apply 2 coats of Protein Bond), apply and finish your enhancements. Once the enhancements are finished, then you can apply any oils, lotions, scrubs, etc. This way the water or oils won't interfere with your adhesion prior to application.

I typically use the same techniques with my e-file to remove the product, and then I proceed as I would with a gel polish application (push cuticles, use small cuticle bit, swipe, protein bond, etc...). I noticed that you skipped the step of pushing back and cleaning the cuticles before the protein bond, like you would with any standard service. Is that because you used the diamond bit to feather around the cuticles? Just curious to see your take on this step. Your feedback is appreciated.💅🏻💗💗💗

Can over fileing lead to infection or very sensitive nails after? My auntie can't go back to the lady somehow ended up with something on her toes; i told her to go see doctor and get that checked out. Do you recommend the gel remover that are selling in a bottle? My friend trying it and i told her to look up your videos for how to remove gel. Im hoping she will get help removing her nail colors i saw her nail beds were looking raw or pink in center.😢
@youngnailsinc10 ай бұрын
Over filing wouldn’t necessarily cause an infection unless it broke the skin or they completely filed through the nail plate and the nail bed/soft tissue is open. If this happens, it opens the skin and could allow bacteria in. Definitely encourage your auntie to consult with her doctor to get treatment if necessary. It’s best to take care of an infection sooner rather than later. If you are wanting us soak off enhancements, we recommend using straight acetone. Some other “nail remover” products can be too harsh or even corrosive.

if you are right handed and you are e-filing your right hand using your left, you switch to reverse depending on which way your right hand is facing. If that makes sense. If you have your fingers bent downward into your palm like almost making a fist, you use reverse. If you work on your right hand while it is flat facing away from you keep it in forward.
