I am from Lowellville OH….I was around when some of this stuff was going down. You should look into some of the Village Officials in Lowellville. You mention Naples, Prato and a few others. How about Carabbia’s? I remember working in a. Bank where Mr. Carrabia would come in with his deposits from his Vending Company…from the stories my dad and grandfather would tell me, I was scared and freaking out that I had to take his deposit!

I grew up in Youngstown and from 1969 thru 1974, knowing Little Joey Naples and hanging around at the Tropics on Market Street and Satins Inferno with Joe Bogash and the Tobin brother's. What a crazy time

The movie "Goodfellas" made me think of growing up in Y-town in the 50s and 60s. Cadillac Charlie being blown up, Joey Naples and family shot up and killed, hijacked loads, illegal gambling, people found in dumpsters, and the night clubs with a girl on a pole. Yes, sir, Y-town of my youth!

I grew up here with Jim. My dad was his best friend and was a straight up cop. We even found Willie flip when he excaped from jail. I have a lot of info about ytown. Hell I even heard the shot that killed joey n. I was at the corner of Lynn Rd and New buffalo Rd when it happened
