you do have to let it sit for a few mins for it to "dry" or set to full matte finish. or you can set it with powder to get rid of the oily feeling. the reason it feels a lil oily is because it is made of a ton of all natural ingredients. some being oils! Glad you liked it, it gives amazing coverage and I'm just in love with the whole skin care and makeup line! the littlest amount of everything goes such a long way!!! The eyeshadows (pallets, Creams, & loose powders) are sooo pigmented!

I was up in the air also about the liquid foundation. I've been considering buying the presenter kit. You have convinced me that I'm going to do it BECAUSE of the foundation! Thanks. I do have to say, however, that it looks like you put on a tad too much. My skin tone is a little darker than yours with red undertones so a different shade would be better for me. I think I'm going to do it. Thanks again for this great demo! Maybe down the road I will be able to do a demo for those of us with red overtones!!!

Hey! Great review........one tip, make sure you are shaking it REALLY well too! That will help "mix" it up! Make sure you empty what is in your dropper into the jar too and shake it up :) ♥

It is $39 USD and not between 49-50. It also lasts a long time. It is also buildable so if you want more coverage, apply more after it dries. Good tip about the skin type. I set with either the powdered foundation or the setting powder. Yes, I am a consultant but I use what works best for me. There are some of our products that just don’t work for me as well as other products. I truly love the products I wrote about. I am obsessed with Epic Mascara too.

I'm in a similar boat as you, with oily skin. tried Younique's primer, and it is heaven on your face. I use 5-6 dots onto their brush... dab it around the face from that brush, that blend it around like you did. This stops that oily feeling, with the same coverage. I wasn't prepared to pay out so much for the product, so I convinced my sister to buy some. she is lots darker than me, but the shade still blended well so I looked tanned. if you're going to buy more, the primer makes the world of difference... I just put it on the areas that get oily, and the eye area... It's been great for when I go out dancing, make up stays on well, and I don't look all sweaty and gross. fyi... I got my shade and use my sister's for contouring, while she uses mine for highlights. we've both only had one bottle for 9 months, and still have plenty.

SUPER awesome review Jess! Hey for your pores, don't skip your primer. Prime first thing. I have mega oily skin, and still, primer will be your best friend! It settles into your pores, creases and fine lines so your makup doesn't. It's clear, you use a teeny bit and makes your face feel silky smooth. Without primer, you will always have foundation issues no matter what the brand. :)

Only needed a few drops to do your whole face, this stuff goes a long way. Probably why it felt so greasy. You can drop it directly onto your brush then dap your face and blend in. It looks fantastic on you!

If you are more dry, use a great moisturizer before. Makes all the difference.

I use this too. Why? Because it's what my dermatologist said would stop my red eye allergies. I used clinique, jane iredale, mas and Lancome before with no allergy relief but this is barnone the smoothest foundation in the universe and the red eyes are gone. I do not like the oily feel but the ease of blending and coverage is worth me keeping my powder handy.

Thanks for this!! It's awesome to have a review by someone who has never used it and experimented with it. Next time you use it, it only takes 5 drops from the dropper. That will take care of the over usage :)

I'm a presenter and you're absolutely adorable! when I was watching this I was taken to the first time I tried it and I only put a few drops on my brush because that's the tutorial that I looked at. And it covered my whole face when I looked at yours I was like oh my God that's a lot and I think that's why you got oily feel at first. I hope that you going on to use this product. You are stunningly beautiful without makeup as well with!! 😃

always use primer(no matter what products you use) to help seal your skin, put a block between the products and your skin to prevent breakouts and helps keep your foundation/makeup in place!! ;)

I know this is a 4 year old video but thanks for the great review. I love our liquid foundation although, I'm of the older generation so I use the mattifying primer first 😍 and instead of the setting powder I use the setting spray which I would recommend for those not wanting to add a powder. I'm curious to know if you continued to use this product? I don't use as much as you have in your video, and really love the finish, cos it is light weight. I use a good moisturiser, and then the touch glorious primer (by Younique, too) Makes all the difference on my oily skin... but i literally use no more than 6 drops on my powder puff brush... (rather than my foundation brush)... I like the way you've applied yours, and tried it tonight... i think you've converted me to full coverage!!! anyway, would you still use it? I love it... I don't sell ... just like the product...

Great review but you need to empty dropper into the bottle first then shake and only use three drops of it to start. You had way too much product on the brush. I love this foundation. Not oily at all and lasts forever. You should go to Kisha Royce hidden coverage and watch her videos on how to apply. She's how I found this foundation and I'll never change as long as I can get it. I have oily skin by the way.

the reason it didn't cover as much as the sharpie videos is because the sharpie videos are misleading. I sell younique and actually asked my sponsor about those specifically. she told me that they used more than one product when covering the sharpie..concealer, primer, etc. so younique products CAN cover that but not with the foundation alone😊

I always use the Glorious Face Primer first which makes your skin feel silky and prepare's your face for foundation.. I also use the compact powder to set my look..

What foundation brush are you using? I bought the beauty blender and it leaves my face patchy with my matte makeup forever foundation. I can't seem to get an even coverage with my beauty blender which is so disappointing considering how hyped up/expensive it was.

I agree that sometimes the beauty blender doesn't work as well on some foundations -- usually thicker ones like the matte velvet plus like you mention. The brush I'm using in this video is just like 4$ no name brand brush (can't remember where I found it)..it's almost like a very soft blush brush but just flat topped. It works well for watery foundation. I find with beauty blenders, I have to use more product to ensure no patchiness.

I actually bought a bottle of the Foundation from a presenter in Scarlet and found it to be pretty bad, for my combination skin. And yes to any presenters out there I used the primer. Sometimes counterfeit products can actually be better than the originals so maybe the version you bought was actually better. Not in most cases but in some. And honestly any decent drugstore foundation works so much better then Younique

Hi! I've only used it a few times since this review, and I find with less product I'm not getting as much coverage and it's still a little too moisturizing/greasy for my oily skin. It looks sooooo good haha but I prefer a more matte/dry formula for sure. And maybe I need a different brush, but my normal flat top kabuki isn't doing it for me.

You put it on wrong lol. Actually you only use 5 drops. You put 5 drops on your brush and put it on in circles instead of brush it on. I dont sell younique but i live by it 😂😂 its so far the only one ive used. But i use primer under it.. jot sure if its something you should do or not. There is also a quiz on the website to tell you your shade but it looks like a good match for you.
