Hassan Khan Due to Respect His Test Record was so Gud He is Real legend of test cricket 🏏 the International Cricket Council (ICC).[2][3][a] Pakistan obtained Full Member status of the ICC in 1952, becoming the seventh nation eligible to play Test cricket.[6] The Pakistan national cricket team played their first Test match on 16 October 1952 against India which they lost by an innings and 70 runs.[7] They recorded their first victory in their second ever match against India on 23 October 1952.[7] Since then, they have played 421 matches, against every other Test-playing nation.[8][9] As of December 2018, Pakistan is the fourth-most successful team in Test cricket with an overall winning percentage of 32.30, behind Australia (47.00), South Africa (37.85) and England (36.14).[9] Top order batsman and former captain Younis Khan holds several Pakistan batting records. He has scored the most runs (10,099) for Pakistan in Test cricket-the first and only player to score over 10,000 runs in the format for his country. He is the record holder for the highest number of centuries (34) as well as the highest number of double centuries (six with Javed Miandad) for Pakistan.[10] Hanif Mohammad's 337 runs against the West Indies in 1958 is the highest individual score by a Pakistani cricketer, surpassing the previous best of 209 by Imtiaz Ahmed, which was established in 1955.[11] It is also the eighth-highest individual score in Test cricket.[12] Hanif, Inzamam-ul-Haq (329), Younis Khan (313) and Azhar Ali (302 not out) are the only Pakistani players who have scored triple centuries.[13] Wasim Akram, regarded as "one of the greatest left-arm bowlers in the history of world cricket", holds several Test records.[14] He holds the record for the most Test wickets (414) as well as the record for the most five wickets per innings (25) for Pakistan.[15] Akram also holds the record of highest individual score batting at number 8 (257 not out) in Test cricket. This feat was achieved in 1996 playing against Zimbabwe [1]. Abdul Qadir's nine wickets for 56 runs, against England at Gaddafi Stadium in 1987, is the best bowling figures in an innings by a Pakistani bowler.[16] 14 wickets for 116 runs by Imran Khan against Sri Lanka in 1982 at the same ground is the best bowling performance in a Test by a Pakistani player.[17] He also holds the record for best bowling average for Pakistan with 22.81.[18] Younis Khan took 139 catches from 118 matches as fielder, the most by a Pakistani and twelfth-highest overall.[19] Wasim Bari is Pakistan's most successful wicket-keeper having taken 228 dismissals; he is eleventh in the list of most dismissals in Test cricket.[20] Key

Misbah is not in the same league. It's Izni, Yousuf and Younis. Before that it was Miandad. Misbah is in 2nd tier with Azhar Ali. From Inzi, Yousuf and Younis, I'd rate Younis the highest. Has a century in every country. No other play has scored 100s in as many countries as Younis. Yousuf would be the next, who has scored double century in England and a daddy hundred in Aus vs their invincible bowling attack of McGrath and Warne, while Inzi sat "injured out" because his record in Aus and SA sucks.

greatest batsman for pakistan is hands down one and only javed. yunis played million test matches on flat middle east pitches. javed faced all the best bowlers in the world and scored everywhere barring missing century in india( he has some tough time against spinners). others hanif,yusuf, yunis,inzi,zaheer were great but none are javed!

@@MuhammadAhmed-qh7ut yunis impact is nowhere close to javed. javed knew batting inside out and mostly batted under high pressure. yunis has played million matches on those middle east, pak and indian pitches. I was cheering for yunis to get that century in england.he knows what to do to survive on those tricky pitches. meaning he has to learn the trick and it took him lot of time unlike javed who was a maestro in batting. In fact yusuf had the best technique( he rarely moved and always tried to play correctly). Inzi was highly vulnerable when he came inn but once he settled he was damn good too. I also liked MISBAH who had excellent fundamentals though he did not do well in aus conditions( to be fair he did not play there enough). So javed remains the bench mark. Even imran had excellent fundamentals( 9 centuries and 1 one day centuries. so imran was quite good). And imran never played mind games unlike javed who did not mind bat-mouthing opposition which yunis never does. yusuf is never there( meaning he dont know anything outside pakistan) yunis was not given a fairshake, was supposed to captain pak after they won t-20! zaheer was very good but he was way too casual i thought. I dont like lose grip that is top handle( i like bottom grips which modern players use). I never liked it. barring may be david gower all appeared lose. And these folks when they lose form it is hard to get back like even gover found out. Mark waugh who was right hand botham did not have top grip. Lara was bottom grip! So that you can power the ball to the ground even if you played with hard hands and big back lift! Dravid who is very classical has bottom grip. And modern RAHUL( one of the best square cutter nowadays). Ponting in australia, clerk etc etc all were bottom handed. hayden too and surprisingly not gill( he had middle kind of grip). Devilla is he best example! And grahm smith who was prolific was also bottom grip. And amla is another solid example. The new indian kid shubman gill has top grip and he struggles at international level till he gets that right. you cant lean on the stroke. the cover drive fly in the air with top grip! kohli is the best example of batting as he has stopped over-commiting to the leg-side. he drives way away from the body ( 4th off-stump which is my only complaint). but due to his tight but bottom grip, he is able to hit the ball to the ground despite playing far away from the body! And steve smith is all bottom grip to the extreme! cook was tight grip but he used his tight. but you can see him hanging his bat outside off many a times. I am advocate of eschew those un-necessary shots like tendulkar did not play cover drive in sydney and smith who always make sure he covers all the outswingers even on 6th offstump. And yunis virtually did steve smith double to survive on england pitch to get that double century. dont have to look pretty there. first one hour survive. in the second test now, actually barring rizwan nobody has really impressed me.

I have not seen midad but I would say Mohamad Yousuf is the best test batsman Pak ever produced..his batting was treat to watch

Agreed. Even Pak cricket board was not fair with pressurized to retire and had put life time ban him too, which he had challenged and then board had no solid reason. He returned before this series and showed all his anger with his bat.

Last two tours of Pak in Eng produced results of 2-2 and 1-1. Played in good spirit and great to watch with each test producing a result. Unfortunaly both tours lacked a deciding test.
