Nice, clean and simple lessons. Love them. I am not a beginner but I think a lot beginners can learn from these. Thank you for sharing and playing.

Nice that you make videos for people with all levels of knowledge, I like your reviews also as well as your videos dealing with instruments besides conventional pianos too.

Hi James, I found your channel recently going through a bunch of reviews for digital pianos. I've found your reviews to be honest, authentic and detailed. I noticed that you haven't been doing much product reviews lately, but I would still like to hear your thoughts on the cdp s160. I am absolutely a beginner having done some keyboard lesson back in the 90's then gave up for 2 decades. I was given a casino back then and I probably had the nostalgic sentiments toward this brand. I saw the ct s1 which I was almost going to buy. But now I thought maybe I would want to get a 88 weighted keys instead. This is also bearing in mind that I would like to start my child turning 4 in a few days to start on it and that he will hopefully become serious and grow with this keyboard. I was also looking at the Donner dep20 and Yamaha p45. I just feel like I'm getting lost in all the reviews while not even having the opportunity to go into a store to see the actual products due to our lockdown here. Your advise will be greatly appreciated.

My aim is just to learn to play by hear. Will I be better buying a digital piano or a midi keyboard with 88keys? Please suggest a model 🙏 Thanks & regards

Hey James, I just bought the Kawai ES520 and will be taking professional lessons with a tutor soon (Maybe playing on an acoustic piano). Would the ES520 be a hindrance to my progress as a pianist or is it good enough to learn on? Considering action and other stuff. Thanks!

I think the ES520 would definitely fit the bill! Myself personally, I'd likely choose the ES110 because I like its action response more and it's more affordable, but the sounds of the ES520 are more lush and warm and its speakers are louder too.

Why are the inversions important? Doesn't the score tell you which keys to hit?
