Gay Mean Girls is a Canadian queer coming-of-age web series that follows prom committee member Lucy Ching (Vicky Li, who was 15 at the time of filming) as she seeks to understand her sexuality, charm her best friend Miranda, and fit in with the gay community. Based on a viral short film that earned over 3.5 million hits on KZbin, the project was written and directed by queer women of colour.

This was really good! At first I was worried about how Miranda was being portrayed so I’m glad that the series acknowledged her faults towards the end. There were some really funny moments too. Looking forward to season 2!
