I supremely appreciate your size inclusivity concerns. I f***ing hate hunting for patterns on the webs and the sizes stop at “XL” while not listing any measurement.

More KopyKali also has a sweater she made that has a 20 inch positive ease on each size she has made so its baggy on every pattern she has set out to release and thats pretty cool

Omg I'm not far into the video (I'm stalking the comments) but I suggested ikoxuns video in the Instagram question so I wonder if that's why Emma included it! Edit: Emma said a few people recommended the pattern so there must be a crossover in the audience!

I hate to add another one to your list but Zhade Lang made THE MOST incredible aran knit which blended the cables of the Chris jumper with the lushness of the Harry one. She's also wonderfully chaotic
@yapyapyap8719 ай бұрын
for the concern about the amount of inspiring white sweaters, you could always make the sweater in a light-medium toned green or gray or brown where its neutral and versatile but not white? (if this makes sense)

okay amazing idea
@13ellamy9 ай бұрын
honestly i LOVE the idea of a really classic type of pattern with a really fun color of yarn. i love how vibrant the green is without being a full-on neon color. i NEVER would have even thought of a color like that for a project like a cable knit sweater, but now that you've proposed it i'm super excited to see it! a "when harry met sally" sweater in pickle juice is such a fun idea :-D

I could totally see a bright green sweatter looking amasing with a super fine stripe of black around the shoulder level or waist. It would tie in with more outfits too. The vest looks amazing!

I've been working on that pattern and i love it! i do have some experience with cables but the pattern has both written instructions and charts which i think helps a lot to visualize how cables work@@anab.6129

I just want to say as a new follower on your channel (and a person who is new to the world of knitting), your channel has been an absolute binge worthy time. I've been watching this show on my TV sitting next to my mom while I knit (and she scrolls through reddit) and we have been listening to all sorts of drama since 12pm today (the 13th of Jan. 2024) it is now 5:36pm (cst) at my time of writing this, and my mom and I are completely hooked on your videos (pun intended.) Thank you for your amazing content!

03:38 I’ve always liked that pickle juice color and it goes really well with cobalt blue or darker value magenta around the neckline/waistline.

Definitely think you made the right choice with the pickle juice pattern! For some reason the baggier fit just seems to make more sense with that color to me? And if for some reason you don't think the color looks great on you, you could layer a turtleneck or dickie under it for some color contrast between your skin and the garment. Really want ALL of these sweaters, thanks for the comprehensive pattern guide!!

I've been working on the Arguyle Kathleen Sperling for a while now. Small gauge so it's slow going, and it's the kind of pattern where you have to pay attention to every row. But I love the finished look of the cables and the traveling stitches over the Gansey-style diamonds. And it's free so you can check it out and change your mind no harm no foul

I made a cabled giftcard holder once 😂 Yes, I know, I’m sooo talented 😂😂 (I gave it to my dad for a Xmas present with his giftcard) But I loved every moment! Cables are so freaking fun… so I ran out and bought all the interchangeable needles, cable needles, and notions and stuff … and haven’t done another since 😮 I don’t make clothes cos I don’t have the oomph (or body style) for it (short torso, I look like I’m wearing a potato sack), but I love how your vest is coming along! Maybe I should make a cabled beanie…. I don’t wear them myself ‘cos I’m precious about my perfectly hairsprayed-to-death short hair style similar to yours lol… but I have friends who love them!
