One of the best ways to avoid stiff drawings is to avoid having stiff references, such as 3d models, which are tempting to use but they don't accurately depict the true flexibility of a living human being. I learned that one the hard way.

this is probably one of the best tutorials ive seen on youtube tbh that involves eliminating stiffness to your drawings, it gets the point across without being vague.

I've only been drawing for 6 months and I'm already at that level with the stiff drawings thanks to all Whyt Manga tutorials! So thank you do much for this. Although I am still struggling with my own original characters and poses

Absolutely. This is why I opted to study dynamicism and anatomy at the same time. No use seperating the two when they are rarely seperate.

Preciate the video man! I always appreciate your videos dude. I just wanna say, been watching you since high school and my art style is bout similar to yours but been trying to stylize it. Hope that’s okay (not trying to steal your art style) keep up the good work. And also if you need video ideas, I’m sure some people would appreciate some updated anatomy/posing 🖤💯✊🏽

I have stiff drawing, not because of some tutorials. I never learned how to draw from something, it was always me, paper and my self isolation in drawings, because i didn't understand what i was doing, yeah Art became more advanced, but stiff poses stacked with me😵💫

Woild it be possible for you to do a video on creating poses from imagination, thats honestly and issue ive been struggling with recently, im decent in anatomy , i plan to practice more in the summer , but before then id really like to be able think of my characters in different poses and draw them in those poses without or with as little reference as possible

I think one of the mistakes I saw at single glance is why he's pointing forward like if holding a gun. People point at things with the palm parallel to the ground with all the fingers curled in but the index. When doing the "gun holding point" is because they are not pointing at the person but just wagging a chastising finger at you in an usual lateral motion with the forearm usually at a 90º or 45º of angle with the rest of the arm. Changing the angle of the shot can help give more dynamism, and foreshortening will always look kind of awkward because the artist would distort that finger in a ludicrous unnatural way (when the usual is that the finger will become out of focus instead). One should also think if the character is seen from the camera view or the POV of the other character, so need to take the level of their eyes into consideration, which will tilt the camera view differently and add more detail to the person pointing at you (like showing more of the nostrils if the target is smaller than the person pointing at them). Also yes, never forget to add more emotion to the expressions. It gets awkward to see perfect symmetrical faces that make no emotion when they are doing an action against somebody else (unless the character is a robot). Anyways, don't mind my ramble. I'm also on my own artistic learning journey and I tend to overthink things when I do research.

I have a question. I know you’re busy, but please give a response whenever you can. Is being a Mangaka stressful for you or do you at least enjoy it to where some stress is worth it? Cause I heard that being one is kind of a nightmare. I saw that a lot of popular Mangaka’s have a lot of health issues. Or maybe it’s because Japan is a bit more hard on its people? I know EVERY job has its up’s and downs, but I just wanted more info. I’d appreciate a response soon, because I’m thinking about becoming one.

@AriesUchiha9 ай бұрын
Honestly, for me not having the music makes me more inclined to focus on what he's trying to teach. It'd be more of a hindrance because you're more likely to watch but not actually learn why he's making the choices he is and study from it.

ADVICE FOR WHYT: your characters have to much clothes on man. Just keep it simple. The characters themselves are well thought out but their outfits is just layers and layers of fabrics and belts and hats and what not. Keep it simple. Check naruto ot bleach or one piece or Baki. Many of us can draw them without reference because the are simple designed.
