I carry a rank 1 pt boat into top tier solely for capping due to this phenomenon. It's shockingly easy to snatch up 3 caps with no deaths in a reserve pt boat at 7.0.

The US premium naval tree are hilariously over powered with all the Frank Knox, Moffet and Helena Tbh the naval is far more ballance than ground 6.7-9.7 BR at this point, CAS actually feel fair and you can fight cruiser with destroyer/frigate/boat in coastal water Ive had game with pr-123K where i kill like 3 cruiser and 2 destroyer The assymetrical gameplay is actually playable in naval

@Napalmratte as a long-time viewer, I respect your dedication, but I quit a long time ago. Only came back for the Sturmtiger event - on a promise years prior. And I think I speak for everybody else who isn't blind, biased, invested or satisfied with the game/economy/road map when I say, to stop spending and playing is the only way. There are better games, devs, and money pits, and when they're forced to make the changes: *people will return.*

The sooner the players drop from this pay to win game, the sooner The Snail will be forced to implement community requirements. Players will find the time to enjoy different things and the game will be fixed much sooner once maintaining servers will be more expensive than income from golden eagles. It's a win win scenario.

@@tobiasGR3Y Lol, there are much worse companies than Gaijin tbh, Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft, companies that are rife with sexual harassment and extreme crunch hours, not to mention most games generally being dumbed down and bastardized every release. Its funny how people flat out dont give a fuck about those things and only act on issues that directly effect them, well i'll follow the same mindset then, I actually usually unlock a new top tier jet within a day and never have issues with money, I'm sitting on 7 mil right now. So I'll keep paying and playing the game, thanks very much, Unless you have any suggestions for better games?

The thing is, I'm already grinding a lot in my real life job. In the rare occassions I get to play some War Thunder I preferably play Air SB. If I have the time to spare I even play Ground SB. Unfortunatelly you lose a lot of SL in SB. So now I'd have to play Naval just to earn some SL in order to take off with the planes I enjoy flying the most? This doesn't sound like fun to me but rather like a second job. I have uninstalled WT for now until Gaijin fix this.

I respect your dislike for naval - fair, I actually agree to a certain point, but the possibility is there. Here are your options (SL wise): - NOT play expensive vehicles - NOT get (mandatory) expert qualification - NOT fire the expensive (but more effective) ammo - WAIT for free repairs - WAIT for 50% sales (2x a year) - PLAY ASSAULT twice a day to get free 300% booster + PLAY Naval to profit and ignore all the above Or my favourite: - COMPLAIN and threaten to leave the game but ACTUALLY open the wallet It is your choice, just don't blame me for the options. :D

@@Napalmratte Leo 2k: 7k repair cost, not coiunting ammo added in, Leo 1 8.5K repair cost Leo A1A1. 5.5K repair cost All main line requires to get to the higest point in the tech tree, all of those costs are with varrying upgrades. most being maxed out. Considering that is without ammo costs the avrage game around those brs have been neting me around 25-40k each. (No premium) only when i get above 27K do i make any profit and not loose money. the game isnt an issue because people play "expensive" vehicles its cause the game is soly based around buying premium

@@Napalmratte I like naval. I don't want to play naval just so I can sometimes play other modes. Forcing your players into a game mode to make up for the disastrous economy everywhere else is bad game design ethos. I don't blame you or other players. But "Just buy it or wait the made up wait period" aren't options, they are malicious greed and that greed is the reason people hate the game so much. Some people have spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on this game. That is their choice, but the company making their game-play worse for everyone else to incentivize spending is malicious, and you know that.

G'day Napalmratte, You play NF to make stacks of SL. I play NF to see how much SL I can lose. We're not the same. But nah it would be nice to make SL but the ships I so adore playing are the ones with terrible economics, horrendous repairs & monstrous ammunition costs all of which can often lead to extreme negative SL matches which all boils back to the 2.01 split. (One CC I watch has recently discovered this heh from the chats with them). Sooo you have a fear of heights ehh? How much liquor did you consume before making such a feat? BTW Is it the game or your end or hell even youtubes end that your footage was freezing ever so often?

Frank Knox alone is a better choice as it has a lower Battle Rating of 4.7, ensuring that it won't be matched against overpowered light cruisers such as Helena or Zheleznyakov.

Ngl the Frank Knox just doesn't click for me, I actually prefer the Wilkinson and the Russian Blagorodny, both for their really fast fire director It's really fun hunting those Moffets and frank knoxs and I don't mind up tiers as I have 1 shot ammo racketed many cruisers with both ships hate to admit it but the blagorodny does feel like russian bias op especially when its soo easy to hit above ur weight and fight toe to toe with some light crusers would love to see u try the Blagorodny sometime napalm much luv

@@Napalmratte never had issues with dispersion tbh maybe it's the accuracy by volume cuz I do run out of ammo a lot, especially on the Wilkinson XP that 2 sec reload on the 5-inch is just *a chef's kiss* on the Wilkinson the blagorodny on the other hand has those stupid 130mm SAPs that just do too much dmg I usually just need few good hits and boom the enemy is ded or severely crippled I have been even called a hacker for using the blagorodny, said player claiming that there is no way those guns fire that fast :v

@@AZ-dj1ni just aim at the water line of the front super firing turret aka the 2nd turret and it pops the ship though the US ships r a bit tough cuz of the magical anti-frag armour I would suggest going for disabling the turrets first then a kill shot at the ammo as that has brought me the most success

I bought the Moffett in the October sale in 2022, played a couple games, forgot about it. Now I have reached rank VII planes and I need SL. Been using the Moffett + backup + Sumner lineup with boosters. I'm not good with using the antimech order but I easily crank out 100-200k SL per game. Should I add a 5.0 light cruiser to my lineup? Or stick with destroyers with lower modifiers but faster fire rate?

There is no vehicle in WT that has a higher SL modifier than the prem cruisers and some prem DDs low tier cruisers can be effective but US wise I do not really see the point ^^

​@Napalmratte I've completed the US Tech tree, i use a ship with a 6× multiplier, premium account and a 300% booster. I consistently get 1st on the team with a average of 5-6 kills per game and the absolute most i have ever made was 330,000 SL, 230,000 SL after repair costs. What am i doing wrong?

Activate the antimech order. That's where a bulk of SL comes from.

Also premium account hilft ein bisserl mehr Ohne Premium 6x(100%+300%)=2400% Mit Premium 6X(100%+300%+50%)=2700% Dann Premium Schiff mit max modifier von 8 statt 6 prem^2 8x(100%+300%+50%)=3600% Jetzt noch mehr kills, das match gewinnen und schon ist deutlich mehr in der Kasse :) Moffett oder Frank Knox als US premiums sind echt billig und bringen sau viel Geld ein!

When i play the frank knox, i get always up tiered fighting cruisers. 8 out of 10 games im in uptired. And the time i spent here i wonder if i get the same amount of sl if i play just a fckn premium jet im the same time frame

Do you have another ship that's higher BR in the lineup? 5.0 and up in RB should get pulled into 5.0-6.0 all the time due to the 6.0 cruiser spam, but 4.7 you shouldn't get pull up consistently.

Just play F-5C / A-10A / AV-8A or any premium jet bomber, I make close to 120k a match doing this and the matches only last around 5-10 min. I'd prefer not to sit there for over an hour getting 3 kills maybe 4 and wasting my time on a boring game mode. Not to mention Naval is pretty much dead as finding a match takes about 5-10 min anyway

If players go into Naval expecting to play like Ground or Aircraft, better they stay with Ground or Air because Naval is as different to Ground/AIr as they are to each other. My advice to the Naval Knockers is to LEARN to PLAY it before criticizing it !

Aidens right just watch the video in full and he tells you a few. but let me make it easier for you. USS moffet and Fort Knox prem. are pobly the best for US right now. That said if your not willing to spend 15min diligently to learn from napalms video... I don't think spending Money on these ships is gunna help you that much either way.

I recommend NOT playing naval it's like the hot and crazy matrix, just imagine the fun and stupid matrix with naval just being too stupid to be worth it It can be really fun but the funs parts take a long time to discover and then the endgame is buns I have Japan bluewater rank 5(they overall the least worth it) , USSR coastal rank 4 , German blue water rank 4, and technically USSR rank 5 bluewater with the latest build a bear event ship And i stop there bc the stupidity level just gets too high My favorite ships are the 5.3 Leipzig to make moffets go pop and the sr701 bp boat to make Helenas go boom So I will give Gaijin credit for giving a fun BP boat

Naval is mostly toward for US main, if you have the des moines its an absolute monster getting 100k or more easily per match even with tech tree ships along with helena and moffet. Sadly any nation beside US is obsolete in naval due to the shear amount of fire rate the US ship can pump out. Id say naval for casual US player that just wants to grind SL consistently but what ever works is fine enough
