For me, the biggest mistake we made was either selling Lovren and buying no replacement until January, or playing Fabinho CB for so long instead of one of the other young CBs. Fabinho in midfield is what allowed us to smash United. If you’ll notice our last few games, Chelsea L 1-0 Fab at CB Fulham L 1-0 Fab at CB Wolves W 1-0 - Fab in midfield Arsenal W 3-0 - Fab in midfield Villa W 2-1 - Fab in midfield Leeds D 1-1 - Fab at CB Newcastle D 1-1 - Fab at CB Southampton W 2-0 - Fab in midfield Man United W 4-2 - Fab in midfield

@@prometheustv6558 if we had played thiago instead of Keita in the first half in Madrid, he wouldn’t lose out every time he had the ball, and they wouldn’t have scored those 2 goals. Keita’s constant losing of the ball pretty much took Fabinho out of the game, since they would win the ball and immediately boot it to Vinicius. In the second half and leg Fabinho ran the show defensively, while Thiago and trent put in the work as far as putting chances on a silver platter for the forwards went, just that none of them could remember how to finish those days. If we had our shooting boots on in that second leg it would’ve been 6. Even then, if we hadve played Thiago from the start then it would’ve been 1-1, and we would’ve went through

Disagree with the Scott Parker one, not only did he turn their form around the minute he joined in the 18-19 season he was able to send them straight back up via the play offs. He turned on paper the worst defence in the league into one of the best in 2021, utilised his best assets in Anguissa and Lookman. He was 1 solid striker away from survival
