Tokyo is the PERFECT city for street and night photography! There's so many little nooks and hidden spots to take incredibly intricate shots but it's hard to know where they are...
Thank you so much to Eyexplore for having us. Brandon and I learned SO much on this photo adventure! From panning shots to zoom blurs to how to set the aperture like a pro, I actually can't wait to go out and shoot again.
Check out their site for more photo adventures like this one: bit.ly/eyexplor...

If I may suggest that using Auto ISO allows you to set the aperture and shutter separately.Night street shooting I would set Auto ISO at 2200.aperture at f3.5, and shutter at 1/90.As someone once said, "set it and forget it". Tokyo looks fab.

love the mini photo tutorial in there!! Some really great tricks!! lol I did a photo experience in Shinjuku and the guy took us around Golden Gai and Shinjuku, it was kind of meh, but your experience with this company looks so cool!! If only I had brought my DSLR to Japan :/ Also I loved that you included the raw photo versus after it's gone through grading in post - sometimes it can feel like cheating to touch up a photo but cameras are Not perfect and post editing can help bring out the beautiful image you actually saw...as long as you're not like photoshop layering lol nothing against that, it's just different

Tell your friends it's best not to extend the center column of the tripod, let alone all the way up (especially not in long exposure). If they did so because they didn't want to fully extend the tripod legs and block half the overpass then raise and lay one of the legs on handrail without extending it.

Hardly complete, and barely a guide to either obscure locations or actual street photography techniques. I suppose that’s all on me for still believing that there may be KZbin videos that have titles that represent their videos rather than bait for clicks. Props for promoting eyeexplore though. Any gaijin trying to run a business in Japan deserves a shout out.
@CurrentlyHannah
@CurrentlyHannah 5 жыл бұрын
Eyexplore IS your complete guide to Tokyo Street Photography. That’s what the title was referring to.
@DarcNoodles
@DarcNoodles 5 жыл бұрын
@@CurrentlyHannah Though is it, actually complete? Truly? No, I don't think so. Superlative claims to anything in Tokyo (or anywhere for that matter), especially things which are not completely objective, are all inflated, inaccurate and sometimes even completely false. At a truthful best they could be 'An extensive and detailed guide to Tokyo street photography'. Though that would probably not get you as many views. I get it, it IS KZbin. Titling videos as Absolute assertions regardless of the actual accuracy of those assertions is what passes for "best practice". Still, when it involves subjects that I happen to know about, It is my, admittedly self righteous, duty to call it out.
@CurrentlyHannah
@CurrentlyHannah 5 жыл бұрын
You’re not wrong there. It’s hard to be 100% factually and physically correct in saying that ANY guide (for that matter) is complete regarding all the information it could include. This guide is probably the most complete guide you can find when coming to Tokyo for photography in that it includes the things the vast majority of people want to shoot. “An extensive and detailed guide to Tokyo Street photography” is too long and doesn’t sound catchy so I made a choice.
