@@Void_Echoes best boss theme is very subjective to beginn with and secondly there are ton's of other boss battle themes that kick ass. For instance half the themes from monster hunter and Soul's/born series are amazing. You have the OG one winged angel the counterdebate of dancing mad, classic's like the molgera battle, and even in a hat in time you have the battle for award 42 which also is kickass. Should I go on or have I made my point clear?

This is literally one of the best bosses I have ever had the pleasure of fighting. Exhilarating and incredibly fun, especially if you take a dive into Steam Workshop and give him more than double his original health for extra challenge. Still got no idea who's next, but I look forward to it regardless. So then, Pierrot of the Star-Spangled Banner by chance? It's a damn fine tune.

The problem with the fight is how incredibly anti-climatic it is. Once the battle feels like it's just starting, he's dead - I expected him to fake us out with another phase but it never happened! I'm still of the opinion that a chapter finale should not be able to be completed in all of two minutes. Conductor/Grooves was a much better fight.

True, he goes down all too quickly, and once you get used to his patterns, he really isn't all that tough at all. Still, nothing the modding community can't solve. Get the Give Snatcher More Health mod. It can make him have more than double his original health, and coupled with the fact that his attacks speed up as the fight drags on, it can become genuinely tough and an utter blast to play. Of course, it also lets him have 60 health while simultaneously forcing you to fight him with 1 health, if you're into such masochism.

True, but unlike Conductor/Grooves, Snatcher doesn't have enough variance in his pattern to make that fun. He'd need to have multiple phases to the second phase, where he actually gains new attacks, for that mod to be meaningful. That's just my opinion though.

Yeah, that is a bit of a problem. Shame, really. The concept, atmosphere and pretty much everything but variance is already there.

Yeah. Think about it like the final boss fight from Kirby 64 - it's a long fight with great aesthetics, climatic music, and a pretty dynamic way of attacking it, but the fact that the final boss has all of 2 attacks that don't get more challenging as the fight goes on makes it kind of boring. In fact, I'd almost say that it's better to have a shorter fight if you're going to do that. Simply giving Snatcher more health is a band-aid on a gaping wound, imo. Then again, it seems like everyone loves that (and the final boss fight from K64, for that matter) boss fight to death so, in the immortal words of Reginald from Nedroid: i.imgur.com/Z5RJCpT.jpg

Man, seeing footage of this game actually running properly makes me sad. My comp isn't good enough to run this game at anything but the lowest settings, and I still experience heavy lag in certain areas, like the toilet and snatcher fights. Still managing to progress, but like, that snatcher fight was so awesome, i hated dying to the lag. In particular, that ground pound+waves attack is almost impossible to avoid with that much lag. Kirby Boss Medley (you know, the songs that play whenever you fight Wispy Woods) 5. Ultra Necrozma 6.
