The key is detangling your hair, once your hair is fully tangled saturated with water use conditioner to enhance the curl, and styling gel for hold. -Barber/ Hairstylist for over 15 years

No this is hairtype 4a and high porosity and also a bit fine because its soaking the water and it looks moisturized with only water

All gone overnight, do you have any tips for stopping hair from drying out over night, or do i need to remoisturize every morning?

To keep hair from drying out overnight, try a leave-in conditioner or hair oil before bed. Also, consider a humidifier in your room to keep moisture in the air.

Wearing a bonnet helps. Without the bonnet my hair would dry the next day, but I simply just moist and losen my coils(hair) add cantu curling cream and back to define curls again. Also I'm 3c 4a hair I have soft hair 👍

For flatter hair, avoid picking it out. Instead, use styling products and methods that encourage your hair to clump and weigh down naturally.

Essentially hair this curly is too curly to stay moisturized easily, so afros, stuff like that, 99% frizz, styling products show what your hair SHOULD look like

I disagree about 'should' look like. It's shows what your hair COULD look like. It could also look like a cloud (afro) and that's fine too. It's a matter of how you want to style your hair/ your preferred look. I have 4c hair. I like both afro and coils and chose differently depending on the week.

PLEASE SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK who think people with more wavy or looser curl texture have straight hair , and try to “call them out “ for using curly hair products to make their hair curly . Like babes do you not have common sense?? You can not just make curls appear on straight hair with curly hair products. If their hair is curling more with the products , then they already had curly hair to begin with! They just didn’t know how to style it 😂

my hair is just a frizzy mess. i have mixed black hair so its curly and straight. i put so much water in my hair and tried multiple leave in conditioners yet my hair still remains frizzy even though i dont dry it. I even wear a bonnet to sleep and deep condition. Curl cream works on some sections of my hair but my hair is so frizzy it just looks horrible

Same I am of mixed heritage and I have been told i have pretty hair but it is undefined af and if i look what type of hair it is it is saying 4a - c when it is not kinky it is really frizzy too

@itscarltonrose I'm doing everything, I buying multiple hair products, eating berries oats, almonds, fish, and tons of veggies, im taking a collagen supplement, wearing silk beanies all the time, drinking plenty of water. Like I have a smallish fro, my hair is definitely growing, im just impatient.

God loves you so much that he sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to pay the price of all our sins. After 3 days after he died,he rose up from the dead. He will accept you not matter what you been through or have done.
