Briefing your departure is essential, but just how do you to it to ensure its a useful one, and not full of unnecessary information? Pilots must both have the same mental picture built up prior to taxi, knowing what they need to do, and how they are going to achieve their plan. Slight misunderstanding with EO procedure at MAN. @1232 ft, you can push V/S 0 to level off (as long as the engine is secure). You’d then level off, accelerate and retract flaps on schedule. When at GD you’d pull OPEN CLB and set MCT. THEN at 1800 ft you’d turn to DAYNE. You don’t turn below this but you can level off and accelerate. This is airport dependant as some EO ACCEL altitudes will higher and on a non standard EO procedure, you want to have completed the first turn before accelerating.

One question, how do you know whether you should do a single engine taxi or not and how do you decide when you start the second engine?

Basically, if you can do it, then you probably should - there are exceptions to this. Your second engine needs to be running for 3 Mins. You can't single engine taxi if the weather has slippy/wet/contaminated taxiway.

They are usually found In the airport charts. If nothing is mentioned, assume NADP2 is in place. There's a video here on the channel explaining more about them.

Thanks for the video. A question: I saw that the LSGG airport map displayed in Navigraph from minute 14 is marked MAPBOX (same later for Paris Airport); Can I ask you how I can view it too ? Thank you

You have two options with Navigraph, you can either view the actual ground chart, or you can zoom right into the airfield on your map view to see the airport layout map.
