IMPORTANT: As one of the user has asked: What are the drawbacks to lowering disk cache size? is there any way to fix this without having to open After Effects? I get the first warning but After Effects also crashes right after so I can't even get to preferences.. Everything was fine before but I just updated to the latest 2022 version of AE and it's completely messed up. To the point where I'm googling how to get an old version just to see if that still works...

Good question. We are reducing maximum dish cache size that After Effects wants out of your allocated drive. So, basically you allowing AF less space for cache so that it won't complain anymore that there is not enough space for the allocated space!

switch from after fx 2023 to 2022 if ur using a pirated copy, worked for me :)

I've just checked After Effects again but the preferences are in the same place. What version of Ae do you use? You can check the version as shown in kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHbSomuGqbd3gtE (it's for Premiere Pro, but Ae is similar).
