Your District 72 Toastmasters New Zealand

On May 30th, 2016, I was asked by the Toastmaster of the evening, often called “The Chair” here in New Zealand whether I could do a 3 to 5 minute educational on how the District, it’s Divisions, Areas and Clubs all fit together for our newer members. I was glad to help out as there was a gap in the program. This speech describes how many clubs are in New Zealand, how many Areas there are here and discusses the nine Divisions that all make up District 72, Toastmasters New Zealand. I also discuss the newer titles given to the Toastmasters District officers around the world. This Educational is titled “Your District 72”. While the numbers of Clubs, Areas, and Divisions mentioned here apply to New Zealand, the structure of how this all fits together is the same everywhere. I gave this Educational at the Palmerston North Club here in New Zealand and the speech runs for just under 5 minutes with a 1 minute narrators note at the start. Enjoy.
